maybe henry will get his father's wonderful smile (and smirk)

I came across this picture and just love it. This is Sue and I when we were about four years old.

who does henry favor?

we have been trying to determine who henry favors and are considering that perhaps we brought home the wrong child from the hospital. so, I found a few baby pictures of the two of us to compare. what do you think?

monday afternoon nap

tricia has this great collage of pictures of cole when he was a newborn . . . his ear, his eye, his mouth, his head, etc. I thought I would try my hand at something similar . . . more to follow when he's not bundled up and comfy.

Sunday Best and Monday pants day

all dressed up for Sunday

a picture of Henry awake!
Monday marked the first day for Mr. Henry to wear pants. The funny thing is there is a pocket on one of the legs! Now for what exactly will Henry be using this pocket?! Ha!

Catching Up

we have been having router problems that have kept us from having internet access. so, to catch up on the weekend's activities . . .

wonderful wednesday

really, can he BE any sweeter than this?!
My mom gave Henry this outfit when I was around 15 weeks pregnant with him. What a handsome little guy!

Today marked Henry's first walk/stroll in the jogging stroller. He had no idea where he was and slept the whole time. What a great feeling to take a walk with our son!

snoozin' . . . on a tuesday afternoon . . .

Gary's mom came to visit today and was able to hold Henry for the first time.
This is normal post feeding position. It's tough to be a baby.

chilly weather

Our four legged children are adjusting fairly well to the new family member. Bricks and Savannah haven't really paid Henry much attention; however, Shelby is especially curious about her new brother. All the dogs got baths yesterday and curled up and dried themselves in front of the fire. The fire got a little too hot for Shelby so that's why she is not in the picture.

Bricks curling up for a long winter's nap.

Touchdown Auburn and a "Storm of Historic Proportion"

Henry sometimes likes to sleep with his hands raised, in perfect touchdown Auburn form!
Today something happened that I've always wished for since I've lived in Auburn . . .
It snowed! The Montgomery news channel called it a "storm of historic proportion." As you can see it's not so much historic as it is just a dusting. But I will take it!

Too bad the snow didn't just melt the Jetta and make it disappear. . . at least we could file for the loss on our insurance and replace it with a "fixed" vehicle. Oh well!

Henry's first few days

snoozing in his moses basket - which is his favorite place to sleep. he doesn't seem to be very picky though about where he likes to sleep!
Henry's first outing . . . to the doctor's office for a weight check.
