We were given one tongue and two ears so we could hear twice as much as we speak.

So, made it throught the holidays.   Antoher Christmas spent in a boot for Achille's tendonitis.  the choats came home for a late Christmas/Baby shower for Kyle and Anna.  Yes, I am going to be a great great aunt.   Finally have a new little camera (thanks JJS) for the gift card so maybe pictures will soon follow.   Eventually I will have another "big" camera, but right now this will be just fine.  
Liz, Carolyn, Barbara and I are headed to a Quilt show in March in Maryville.  I agreed, but am a little scared because I love the one in Pigeon Forge which is the week before.   Well, next year we just might have tog o back to that one.   Might even catch one in Atlanta in September.  
Would love to go back to NYC for my birthday --- better start saving every bit I can.  

I love being back in Franklin.   Still a little scary thinking about utilities again --- especially since when I left Franklin two years ago my water bill averaged $25 a month,  got my first bill --- no administration fees, sixteen days of service, I was only there six days and my bill was $47.63 --- of course $10 was water and the rest was sewer, landfill, trash pickup and storm water!!!!.    gives a new meaning to Saturday night baths.    I can do this.   Just a shock.   
Still being blessed in so many ways.  God is so good to me.   

Struggles at work ---- I can control what I do or not do,  I cannot control what others do or not do. 

Okay, I am back in Franklin and love it.   Wonderful landlords, but then so were the Cobles and the Mullins.    My drive this moring was ten minutes, YEP, ten minutes.    For two years it was 40 minutes one way!!!  
I was the blown away by the goodness and gnerosity of some friends that provided me with a NEW bed and mattress/springs, and, get this,    Moving truck and guys!!!!!!! How blessed am I.    Of course family loved the idea of not having to move me!!!!    THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

Okay,  so I went to look at the duplex last night and YES!    Pros and cons but mostly pros and the cons I can make work.   Hardwood floors, big living room, washer/dryer/refigerator/dishwasher, lots of closets (small but several).     Kitchen is small, have to get a microwave, at least I have a cart I can put it on.  Kitchen wallpaper may have to go soon --looks like cork board.  Need a twin bed for the extra bedroom/sewing room --- but that will have to wait.   Bathroom small, but will work --- I have a linen closet -- so happy.  Great neighborhood, wonderful landlords, beautigul gardens in the back, CLOSE to work and church.   Counting my blessings for sure.  HE is awesome. 

Going to look at posibly renting a duplex in Franklin this afternoon.    EXCITED!!!   

Only working two days and then heading to Quiltfest in Pigeon Forge thursday through Sunday.   What a trip --- my best friend who happens to be my sister and two cousins taking on the quilts.   We laugh, we cry, we solve problems, we create problems, we talk until the wee hours and get up at wee hours.   Family is special.
