Cruise

Geoff surprised me with a cruise for our anniversary this year. So last week we took a five day cruise to Mexico on the Carnival Ecstasy with our friends Matt and Emily Bell.

Posing on the top deck before we left port in Galveston.
Geoff out on our balcony. It was real foggy, delaying us about an hour from leaving.
Me showing off the fake trees on the Lido deck.

Geoff and Matt after their first buffet.

Every night we came back to our room to find our bed folded down, mints and these cute little towel animals.

Formal Night...

It was so fun dressing up, Geoff was so good not only to dress up, but for taking TONS of pictures too.

Our first stop was in Cozumel, Mexico, where we took a speed boat to our own private beach, went kayaking to find shells, snorkeling and enjoyed an authentic Mexican buffet.
Look how blue the water was!

Shopping for souvenirs.

We docked next to the Carnival Dream, their largest cruise ship...makes ours look so tiny when it was huge.

Posing on the balcony to show off the blue water.

Our cabin...look at our view!

The next day we woke to find ourselves in Progresso, Mexico. Here we took these mini-jeeps to view some Mayan ruins and to another beach where we were able to find lots of neat shells.

Back on ship, Emily and I had to try out the slides.

We seemed to end up in this little cubical in the Starlight Lounge every night for the show. We also enjoyed playing cards at the little table.

The last day at sea was stormy with huge waves, they said if we could handle it we could handle any day, and we did.

Playing chess.

Pictures don't do it justice, these waves are huge.

We came back to our room that last night to pack and found it decorated for our anniversary. This was a fantastic trip, I highly reccomment it. (Without kids but with good friends!)

Thanks Geoff, you are the best huband in the world...I love you!!!!

Thanksgiving

This year for Thanksgiving we went to St. George Utah to visit out friends the Bells.

We had so much fun with them. They took us to a fun park where everything spins, tips, and slides.

They also took us to Snow Canyon, where the kids loved playing on the sand dunes. (Matt and Geoff said we aren't walking anymore, we are sitting right here...and they did)

Hayley learned what makes a cactus a cactus :)

Emily and I made a yummy Thanksgiving dinner, just ask the kids...Alex and Naythan fighting over the meet...Hayley licking her plate.

We also went to this fun jump house where the kids were able to work off all their dinner.

We took the scenic way home and stopped in Zion's National Park.
