Cheer Banquet

End of season cheer banquet was a real hit for the girls. They loved dressing up, showing off with each other, eating, dancing and winning prizes.

We made these team ornaments to hang on the table decorations, and then take home as memento for the girls.

Trombone







All sixth graders get to pick choir, orchestra or band. Alex picked band. Then they go to instrument auditions to see which instrument fits them best. So although he wanted to play the trumpet he became a trombone player! Except for having to carry the big thing to and from school, I haven't heard any complaints from him, not even when he has to practice 30 minutes a day. These are pictures from his first band concert in November.
