Greetings!!

Chewie's famous snowman every year!!

Sorry, it's been a while. With the holidays and everything I think that posting has taken a back seat. I hope that everyone had a good Christmas and that 2009 will bring joy and peace to all. I have included a couple pics-

The kids opened jammies on Christmas Eve

We did the nativity- I love Lil' sis's face- We had a Mary, Joseph, Baby Jesus and even a black sheep and a white sheep. In this picture, Lil' sis was literally pulling herself to stand up in this playpen. I was lucky to get this picture because I dropped it and ran to make sure she didn't topple out of it.

New Star of the Week and Jr JAZZ

Big sis was the Star of the Week in her class. She got to share with her class a poster that she made at the first of the year. She also got to bring whatever she wanted to bring in a guessing bag and had the class guess what it was (her 3 clues- 1.It has hair 2. It has a dress 3.It is her favorite toy - Can you guess what it is?) and she got to bring home the class mascot (George Jr the monkey) and spent the day with him. We took George on a walk in her double stroller around the neighborhood looking at Christmas decorations. She had a grand week and is always a star in our book!

Big bro is showing off his dribbling skills

He's is practicing his lay up drill

Big bro just recently started Jr JAZZ. He loves it. He is real hard on himself when he doesn't make the basket. He has learned real quick how to dribble (with one hand) and pass to his friends on the team.(although some kids on his team don't know how to yet or just choose not to)It is fun to watch. A lot more exciting than when he took soccer and all the kids did was run up and down and up and down the field. He has another game today, but Big sis is under the weather and so Dad ended up taking him. I hope that he has fun!

Songs of Christmas

Big bro was in the Christmas Choir Performance this year at school. He even had a speaking part and he did so good! It was actually very fitting that we had his performance on Taylor's birthday. We went to the grave and put up his tree (thanks to Nana for bringing one- we don't know what happened to the one we put up last year- ) We put on ornaments, put a present under his tree and Big sis sang happy birthday to him. My parents then took us out to eat and then we headed to his performance. They sang really well and he knew all the songs- Good Job !
