WEBSTER FAMILY

 We took Grandma on a tour of Morro Bay.  She said she had always wanted to and never been able to.  Who were we to deny her??
 The kids got a little bored on the boat but we did have fun watching out for Otters!

 We walked around on the jetty for awhile...


 Then we headed back to SLO for their Farmers Market!  It was by far the BEST Farmers market we have ever been too.  It was awesome. 
 We took the kids to the original gum alley!  They were totally grossed out but they did add a piece of ABC gum.  :)
 We took the kids by mission San Luis...and everyone wanted to ride the bear...

 The place we were staying had some boogie boards and we used them a bit but the beach we were on had LOTS of sand crabs and they were pretty aggressive.  We didn't have beach shoes so we were pretty weary getting in too much.




 Aunt Lois and Uncle Chuck came out to our place for dinner and dessert!  It was so super fun.

 Aunt Lois planned a craft for the kids!  She read them The Secret Garden and then they built a home and a garden and reenacted the whole story for us. 


 We made our way to a yummy lunch cafe and then found our house for the week...and the beach!




This is going to be a GREAT week!  The house is awesome, we can walk to the beach...we are so very excited with all the possibilities!

Swim season is such a love/hate relationship around here!  We love it but we get really tired by the end.  Thankfully Ben & I had a plan!  Swim banquet Monday, running away to the coast on Tuesday!  We packed all the kids up and Grandma Bonnie and headed to San Luis Obispo & Morro Bay.  On the way we stopped at Mission San Juan Bautista.  It was the first time that I had been to a mission and it was pretty cool!  But since we have a 4th grader...




We arrived in San Luis Obispo and the kids didn't take long to find all the treasures that Uncle Chuck and Aunt Lois have to offer...oh I remember them so well!
 Abby really fell in LOVE with her Great Uncle Chuck. I can't blame her--he is a pretty cool guy!  And reminds me so much of my Dad.

Eliza's hair was finally long enough to donate!  We called Veronica and asked her if she would do the honors!  The end result is awesome! 

Champs 2015!  What a crazy weekend!  The kids did great.  Xander, Eliza and Violet worked super hard.  But I definitely could make Leatherby's a tradition after Champs...best way to end the day EVER!
