In one year. It is February 20th 2019
I was walking back from the school drop off and I wanted to record the thoughts i was having.
When all my currently reality dreams are true.
This is how it is

we are planning the loft conversion
we are planning the small extension to our kitchen
we have a shed built to store the bikes and the guinea pig stuff.
Ted goes riding regularly and love it
I am earning £9999 per month on a regular basis
The loft is converted and we have an upstairs bathroom
We have a small extension and a shoffice out the back
We have a newly paved garden

Mirror Work - How to be Your Own Best Friend
Have you ever done mirror work. Its like when you look at your self and say nice things. You can, if you like, first allow your inner critic to do her worst and say ALL the things - try writing them down and see what you say to yourself. It can be quite a shocker. Like, you would NEVER say that stuff to someone you liked. Or probably anyone, unless you absolutely despised them and wanted to hurt them and make them feel bad. And if anyone said those things to you, you would be hurt and hopefully never speak to that person again.
Then, look at yourself again, with eyes of love, as if, you know, you were looking at someone you liked deeply - like a sister or a daughter, or a good friend. Then - then write down what say to yourself now.
I am taking a punt that I am not the only one who picks out my faults when I look at myself, and says that mean stuff. I mean, sometimes I don't do that, when the lighting is good and I am feeling pretty good about myself.
And these days, I am practicing changing those patterns. And if I catch my refletction, I am practicing saying good stuff back at me. Like my reflection is now backing me up, being my own best friend. I smile at myself.
And I am not perfect and this practice is a practice. But it sure feels better. And its what I want now. I am on my side.

Welcome BACK
Hellooo. It is September. And it feels like the summer has been looooong - and even HOT! (unusually for the UK) and now, we are back.
There is SO MUCH going on for me at the moment and it all feels really, really good.
I have an exhibition I am coorganising, My Brightly Coloured Life - with Faye Bridgwater, Suzie Poyntz, Suzi Lowe and Pinki Jones - at The Fishing Quarter Gallery in - Brighton 14th-21st September. Our private view is on Friday 14th 7.30-9.30pm and - we are SO LOOKING FORWARD to that!! We will be open every day there after - in the afternoon anyways. God I need to work out what the times are, before I start typing, right!?
I have been accepted as part of the Ming ART Gallery - a fabulous zingy, magical space up in Hove - all about the healing arts as well as the arts. Or maybe they are all the same thing, right? I mean, art is magic after all.
I will be at Lagoonfest in Hove tomorrow with the Ming Art Gallery - from about 1-3pm I reckon.
Ming Art Gallery are having a launch (re launch) - with bubbly!!! - on the 15th - open from 11am - 7pm. I am DEFINITELY going to be there 3-5pm and planning to be there earlier and later. I love these guys. Click through to get their address.

ON September 18th - I will be working with Spread the WORD - helping writers and aspiring writers Make Time for Writing!! Its an evening workshop in London - come if that floats your boat and you want to work with me and get writing!
Then I have a WILD ART JOURNALING pop up on 28th - got LOADS of space for that as its at the fabulous Lawrence Art Studios which is huge.
Then its Wild PAINTING - for those who want to go large and paint wild for a WHOLE WEEKEND.
So. yup. Loads. That doesn't even include the work I am doing with Warwick University on Capacity Building with Then Somehow, and my new Productivity Coaching clients which all came about because I was on the BBC! (yaaasss, queen! me on the beeb! check it out here!)
And then -I saw this. THIS. I LOVE THIS SO MUCH. support these ladies, they bloody ROCK.

arts and well being
so this may be like DUH for many folk who know me. maybe not. I know my hub has been telling me this for years, but for some reason it hasn't clicked that its a viable thing as it never felt 'sensible' enough.
Its that I am going to work in the arts and wellbeing arena. I know I already do, but today I figured that if I devised a few worskhops about this - that could actually work.
Office Yoga
Mindfullness in the workplace
Creativity for wellbeing
Power Breaks
etc
small things that take an hour or so....
yes. watch this space

FOCUS
"Make choices and take action that will bring you into alignment with what you SAY you want and who you say you choose to be." paraphrasing Ebonie Allard.
I am an artist and a coach. Moyra Scott Art and Coaching. Simple as. As an artist - create, inspire, dive deeper. As a coach, COACH, learn, listen - listen - listen & hold space.
I want to do yoga everyday, cos I love it, and I know that perhaps out of all the things, this is going to have one of the biggest long term impacts on my entire being. Eat well - like DUH. It's not because I want to conform to some skinny stereotype, its because it is what will make a huge positive long term impact on my life.
Do what earns money - because -the mortgage. I have invested in property and I need to invest in paying that off.
To that end, Wild Art Journaling for groups - this is my next focus. Getting this going is the keen aim. YAASSSS>
