more arena getting into....

Tomorrow I am doing my second yoga class.  its the same lot as I taught last time, so they are OK to have me back, bless em, which is important to remember.  I have prepared well, written a lesson plan and timed it out twice with ammendments.  So fingers crossed it will go well.  Here's to that.

Secondly have been teaching Hub the AP system.  Blimey he's a tough cookie to teach! Probably because its me, and we know each other a bit too well.

My next arena stepping is going to be the art workshop I am leading in November.  I want to set up a trial run of it, first with myself and then with some pals.  Timing again really. Its hard to know how long things will take and how much you can fit into an hour and a half.

So am off to re type up my lesson plan, have a bath and get to bed.  Oh and better remind myself of where I need to be and at what time tomorrow.

September is new year

It is probably to do with the school year and those formative years being inducted into the progress happens as you return to school to a new stage every September.  Or maybe there is something about hanging out with a lot of Jewish folk for years... But
I always think of September as being the start of the new year.  The summer is......holidays.... All bets are off.  I never do much in summer it seems.  I am not 'on the case' in summer.

But as the beginning of September looms, I begin to get that  - start of a new term, back down to business, time for a new pencil case and new notebook - kind of thing.

Hub has gone back on his diet today.  And I am ramping up my planning head to get stuff going for the new year.

What about you?

An inspiring read

Am back from holiday.  And back at work.  Catching up with some blogs reading and I just LOVE this post from Concetta at Glittering Shards and her take on the legacy of the Olympics.

Check it out, it's well worth the read.

As for me.  We had a splendid time camping in Suffolk followed by a wonderful week chez Moulin de PIgnac in France.  Though I have to say I am heavier than when I left.  Wine, cheese, pâté, bread and yet more wine.  Yum!
