do not like the Cotton Candy machine
all the chicklets
and a lot of their friends
get very
sticky
and it takes a long time to clean feathers
and manes
but everyone love Cotton Candy
so the hens just sigh
and do what they can to clean everyone up

The Sewing Committee
made pillows in the shape of eggs
for the Warming Bunny’s Quiet Room
a room the Bunnies go to
after working in the hospital
a place where they can rest
and relax in silence
some of the chicklets hung plastic
decorated eggs on one of the walls
being a Warming Bunny
is a difficult and stressful job
and all the bunnies who work so hard
are admired and treated with great love
and gratitude
they save lives
and are devoted
to those they care for
