Or so I thought . . . early last week we had another freak hail storm. But on Monday and Tuesday it almost felt like Summer rather than Spring. We hit temps in the upper 80's, then yesterday we only got in the upper 70's. Today was even cooler . . . I don't even think we reached 60 degrees. When I woke up this morning it was freezing, only 39 degrees. Bbbrrr . . . It looks like it's going to be a few days before some of that warm weather returns. And as long as the wind keeps blowing . . . looking at this picture is going to be the only way I'm going to be able to enjoy my tulips.

I planted some flowers over the weekend, I think it's been four years since I planted flowers. I forgot how expensive they are and how fast it adds up, but I have to say that it looks so much nicer with some color out there. Now it's time to start working on the backyard, lots of weeds to pull and I'd like to do some landscaping around our lawn. I've also got to get the garden ready, last year was our first attempt and I think we were pretty successful with it . . . Joe has mastered the art of salsa. It seems like as soon as the nice weather hits, there's always a ton of projects to keep us busy. With Joe working nearly 16 hours days right now, I only get to see him for about an hour before he's off to bed. We've managed to make Sundays mornings our little getaway . . . to the grocery store. He works hard therefore he needs to eat good!
I've managed to be a little crafty with all my free time lately, can't share just yet, but soon . . .
