The Bobbitt's - Huntersville Chapter

Sorry, I have been away for a while.  I just looked at the date of the last post - my goodness, June has flown by!!!!!  I am still in disbelief that Hayden will be 1 in 10 days.  This past year has been so great and we have created so many wonderful memories!! While it has been awesome being back home in NC... it has also been somewhat sad being away from our home in Dallas too!!!!  I was in Dallas for work last week and it felt, well odd.  I felt like I was home, but I wasn't... or was I?  I miss our friends, people at work, yummy restaurants, Central Market, Sprinkles, Northpark Mall and Blitz misses Pete and Mac!!!  It is good to be missed sometimes, I guess - right?  Well, I would not have given up the Dallas chapter for anything!!! Do not get me wrong I love being back home - it just goes to show how much growing up I did (Evan too) while we were there!!!

Geez... it is sooooo hot!!!! Evan and I kept saying that we thought we left the heat when we left Texas. It is June and the past 5 days have been in the upper 90's to near 100!!! Oh, and of course it is also humid - SWEAT!!!!

On a better note... We had a great family weekend!!! On Saturday we loaded up the car and took a drive to Aberdeen to visit with Manda and Justin. It was such a great trip. We had not seen them in quite a while and Hayden loved crawling all over their house!!! Kate and Leopold (Manda's 4-legged "children") were so cute and wanted to follow Hayden all over the place. It is so great to have such great friends!!!

Well, we are not longer safe now... Hayden is on the move. This is a recent development - as in the last couple of days. Somehow he just found out that his knees will help him get around. He has also discovered the glass storm door. I am sure that he and Blitz will spend a lot of time looking out that door and dreaming of exciting adventures :-)
