মতামতঃ ১৩ই ফেব্রুয়ারি, ২০২৬ঃ ত্রিপুরায় সাম্প্রতিক অপরাধ পরিসংখ্যান একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বার্তা বহন করছে। সরকারি তথ্য অনুযায়ী, ২০২৪ সালে ৪,০৩৩টি মামলার তুলনায় ২০২৫ সালে মোট নথিভুক্ত অপরাধের সংখ্যা প্রায় ৩,৬৯৮-এ নেমে এসেছে, অর্থাৎ ৮ শতাংশেরও বেশি হ্রাস। খুন, হামলা, দাঙ্গা এবং সম্পত্তি সংক্রান্ত অপরাধের মতো গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ক্ষেত্রেও লক্ষণীয় কমতি দেখা গেছে। রাজ্যে গত দুই দশকের মধ্যে সর্বনিম্ন অপরাধ হার নথিভুক্ত হয়েছে। মোট নথিভুক্ত অপরাধের সংখ্যা উল্লেখযোগ্যভাবে কমেছে, যা নিঃসন্দেহে প্রশাসনিক দক্ষতা ও আইনশৃঙ্খলা রক্ষাকারী বাহিনীর ধারাবাহিক প্রচেষ্টার ইতিবাচক প্রতিফলন। একটি সীমান্তবর্তী রাজ্য হিসেবে এই সাফল্যকে সহজভাবে দেখা যায় না; এটি দীর্ঘমেয়াদি স্থিতিশীলতারও ইঙ্গিত দেয়।
