The Maxwell's

Today was Landon's first game day, and it was a victory for all-Longhorns and Red Raiders! Don't fret UT fans- there are plenty of cute outfits to come.

Landon is spending his days making funny faces, sleeping, and growing like crazy. He already weighs 7 lbs. and 2 oz. and keeps gaining every day. We are starting to settle into a routine and Greg went back to work this week and we miss him dearly. All is well at the Maxwell house.

Landon did not particulary enjoy his first bath, but he was a trooper and did a great job!

Landon Gregory Maxwell entered this world on August 14th, 2008 weighing 6 lbs. and 12.5 oz. and measuring 20 inches long. After giving us a scare, he has proved himself to be quite the survivor. We couldn't be happier and more proud parents.
Landon makes the cutest little faces and he has a full head of hair! He has a little red mark on his face here from the oxygen canula in his nose, but they are gone now...Thank goodness!

Of course Landon's room already looks a little different than these pictures, you can still get the idea of what it will be like. All that it is missing is a baby! Max and Kristen spent a lot of time painting these wooden letters, but we had a great time!
Tree Art-In our attempt to copy a very expensive piece of art work, Greg, Max, and Kristen spent a couple of hours painting a tree to fill this wall. It turned out pretty close to the original with our own bits of uniqueness!
Leonard and BJ gave us this cute picture of us as babies for our wedding and we thought it would go perfectly in Landon's room!

As we patiently are waiting for Landon to arrive, there has been so much to do! Our family and friends have been so amazing in supporting us in whatever ways they can, and we are so thankful for them. Our baby showers were so humbling, and seeing everyone was so much fun! Now, the baby's room is ready, and in no time at all, Landon will be at home with us. We can't wait for him to meet all of the awesome people in our lives!
