The Maxwell's

Kristen and I decided to treat ourselves to a nice camera for the heck of it. We are already pleased with the results (see images below).

Landon thinks it is so funny when Halle gets in trouble!

I promise we will stop counting months once Landon turns 2, but for now, there are still too many milestones to pass up an update! We are two months away from the BIG 2, but we feel like Landon is already acting the part! He is funny, stubborn, and everything in between. Landon's newest obsessions include shoes (putting them on by himself or "I Self" as he would say, or "I do it" or "I got it"), mowing (he can tell you if the neighbors are mowing, edging, or blowing depending on what sound he hears), buckling things (carseats, strollers, highchairs, etc), marshmallows, and swimming. He also loves cycles: motorcycles, bicyles, and popcicles and talks about them constantly. We are enjoying summer so much and going to the pool almost daily! It's fun spending time together as a family!

So Landon has been using the potty for quite some time now and we finally decided that it was time to buy him some "Big Boy Undies." Nana found some cute Sesame Street and Thomas the Train underwear and Landon had so much fun wearing it around today. For a few hours, he went diaper-less and did awesome! He told us everytime he needed to go potty (number 1) and had no accidents...well, until after dinner. Looks like we still need to work on going number 2 in the potty :)

Today the Ralston's were gracious enough to invite us out on their family boat for the kids' first boating adventure. We went in prepared for the worst (Landon wouldn't get in the water) but he surprised us. He didn't exactly love the lake but I know that after one or two more trips, he will love it! The water was fabulous and the view was gorgeous! Thank you again Ralston's!
