Collins was not a fan of her first bath but Landon keeps telling her, "Baths are fun! You will like them when you get bigger!"

 

We successfully survived our first week as a family of 4 and it has been nothing short of a blessing! Collins has been a true sweetheart and Landon is an amazing big brother. Since we got home from the hospital, Collins has been busy. She went to three doctor's appointments with us this week and she had her first trips to Target and HEB. I think she is a natural shopper...watch out! We took her to the pediatrician and she looked great! In two days she gained 4 ounces and she is almost back to her birth weight! Needless to say, she likes to eat...ALOT! We have enjoyed having visitors at the house as well as the fabulous meals that friends and family have been providing. Thank you so much for helping make this transition as smooth as can be! We are so blessed with the amount of love and support that we feel!

 

Family & Friends,

At 7:29 am this morning (3/17/11), we welcomed our new little
leprechaun (Collins, of course) into the world. Her stats: 8 lbs. 11
oz., 21 in. long.

Being a planned C-Section, this delivery was much more relaxing than
Landon's was. So relaxing, in fact, everything was smooth sailing and
everyone is healthy, strong, and enjoying our new interactions. Thus
far, Collins has been a joy...mostly asleep. Landon came to meet his
new sister, a pink superman onesie and purple batman onesie in tote.
He is the happiest big brother in the world. Collins quickly returned
the favor by presenting Landon with a handmade cape and mask, since
her brother is just so super!

For the curious, we are at St. David's of Round Rock in room 127. We
will most likely be here until Sunday...Saturday if everything
continues to run smoothly.

Kristen's work threw her a mini-shower, or "sprinkle," to welcome baby Collins. It was very low key but great! The teachers sprinkled us with gift cards to Target, Babies r us, and HEB! Perfect for diapers! Landon attended the shower and he loved the cupcakes!

 

 

 

 

Here are two pictures of Landon's artwork from February. He also did some awesome projects for Valentine's Day but it is difficult to hang glass plates on the wall! We are so proud of his hard work!
