Sleeping on the trampoline
I have fond memories of sleeping on the trampoline. I also get a little crazy when Glen is gone and let the kids do things out of the ordinary. Charlotte was the only one who made it all night. She also got a bazillion bug bites to prove it.

11th Anniversary Cheesecake
There is an italian phrase, "Non tutte le ciambelle reiscono col buco" which translates, "not all doughnuts have holes." In this case, not all cheesecakes make it into the oven. When we were planning our reception 11 years ago, Glen said he didn't care about the food, as long as he could eat cheesecake. I usually make a cheesecake for our anniversary each year. This year Glen had been away to Cuba up until the night before our anniversary. I mention this because if you have ever been the mother of five small children with your husband gone for a time, you know that the days and nights are extra long and demanding. It was in this state that the following pictures occured. I cried. My kids cried with me. Seriously, aren't they sweet? Then I salvaged what I could (yes, from off the floor) and let the kids eat the rest. Seriously. Yes, and cheesecake batter has raw eggs. I'm not afraid. I may have even earned some "cool mom" points along the way. Glen enjoyed his cheesecake this year, and didn't mention finding any hairballs.

Ezra
Ezra was my best napper. He has officially stopped taking a nap. This means that we are in the stage where by 2 or 3 in the afternoon, interesting things might be happening in our world. Bedtime at 6:30 seems a rather long time to wait on some days. Have I mentioned that I really love this boy? He started swim lessons, really likes to play in the muddy ditch in front of our house, and still loves going to the farm.
He put this box on his head, and then couldn't get it off. Lucky to have mom around, huh?
