This skatepark needs a revamp to help nurture the future of extreme sports and create a safe environment for future generations.
We are the Corsham Skatepark Committee, a community group fundraising to rebuild Corsham’s outdated and decaying skatepark, in hopes to create a safe, fun and inclusive environment for all types of rider at every level of ability.
The skatepark was originally built in 2006 after community fundraising and despite attempts to upgrade it along the way it is currently dilapidated and unable to meet the needs of it's users.
We are working with the Town Council to raise funds for this project, but need your help to raise the initial funds to kick start the process.
We have Skateboarders, Quad and Inline Skaters, BMX and Scooter Riders of all ages and genders coming together to help design a modern skatepark that everyone can use in harmony. We will make sure everyone's voice is heard throughout the design process and that the new park meets the needs of the next generation from beginner to future Olympic champions (hopefully).
To do this we need to raise money, there are many ways you can help us do so. Donating here is a great start!
Skating is becoming more popular than ever, with it now being an official Olympic sport and even taught in the school curriculum in some areas.
We are so grateful to be working with many great businesses within the Corsham community to raise funds. We have many more exciting fundraising plans yet to be unveiled. But for now, your donation could be the first step towards helping the community.
Thank you,
Corsham Skatepark Committee
