Campbell quotes

Katie and Campbell are here visiting me this week. I just can't resist sharing some of the hilarious comments Campbell makes. She is quite smart for a 2 1/2 yr old!

To begin:
On the way up here, Katie was explaining to Campbell all the things we might do while we're in Charleston...carriage ride, harbour boat tour, great restaraunts, etc. So Campbell was talking on the phone to one of her friends and said, "I'm going to Charleston, and I'm going to ride on a horse, go on a boat, eat yummy food, eat macaroni and see MY jess!"

Wednesday at lunch - Me: "Campbell, I'm so glad you came to visit me!" Campbell: "You're welcome jess!"

In the hotel elevator with several strangers: "Hi, My name is Campbell and I'm 2 and this is my friend, Katie Compton" (pointing to her mom)

To every puppy or dog she saw along the way, "Awwwwww, cute!"
Looking at my cheap target earrings - "These are INCREDIBLE, jess!"

As I was leaving one afternoon I said bye to Campbell and she replied, "Call me if you need anything!"

Visitors!

I have 2 sets of visitors coming in October - get excited!
First, Katie and Campbell and Katie's parents are coming this week (Tues-Sat) for a conference for Mr. Boyd. I am taking Thurs the 15th off to hang out with them and explore the city a little.
Second, my Grandparents are coming the weekend of the 24th. We plan to visit the Naval Museum at the USS Yorktown. I will enjoy showing them around the city!

Anyone else want to make the trek? My apt is always open!!

AU-TN game

I invited my co-residents over to watch some SEC football. Most lasted thru the 1st half, but by the 4th quarter only Carol and I were left! They just don't know what they're missing...
