It seems like I keep going through spurts of not blogging anything. First, it's because I think I have nothing worthy of blogging about. Then it's I can't decide what to blog, and lastly, it turns out that I have so much going on and am so busy that I just haven't had the time to sit and sort through everything that has gone on!
This blog has been at the bottom of my list, but I really should think about making it more of a priority!
We have had school starting, Awanas starting, soccer starting, fairs we've been to and fun times in between. We have a certain Disneyland Adventure coming up in 2 weeks and we are all so excited we can hardly contain ourselves. I am gonna need a vacation from my vacation though....I can already tell.
Well, I am going to try to keep this a little more updated again and try not to write so few and far between. Wish me luck!

What Do You Say????
Kenna and Jaxson were playing around the other day on the floor. They were wrestling and laughing and having a great time.
Suddenly, Kenna picked up a Transformer and threw it at Jaxson. Jaxson started crying and screaming and making more than the neccessary amount of noise!
I said, "Oh No Kenna, what do you tell Jaxson?"
Kenna says,"Shhhh Jaxson!"
That wasn't exactly what I had in mind! Maybe she thought if he stopped crying, she wouldn't get in trouble! Either way, it was funny and coincidentally, Jax stopped crying and started laughing. Kenna still had to say sorry and deal with her punishment, but it was funny nonetheless.

All is Forgiven
No matter what she did earlier....
No matter how mad she made me......
No matter how embarrassed she made me feel......
All is forgiven!
When you look at a sleeping child and see how peaceful and innocent they look, you can't help but forget anything bad that happened prior to that moment!
I suddenly feel guilty for being upset, and sad that I was angry with her. I feel hurt that I made her cry and realize I shouldn't be upset over the little things.
I should watch them sleep more often, I feel so blessed when I look at how sweet they look.
How could I ever be angry with anything that looks like that?
Oh yeah, now I remember.......

What Happened?!
So I have been trying to clean the house today. However, it seems that every time I clean a room.....another one is trashed!
When I asked Kenna what happened in her room , she said "I don't know Mommy"!
I have a strange feeling she might know something!!!

The "House Fly" Renamed
Last year, Jaxson had a ridiculous obsession (or something) with flies! I mean, if there were flies in the house, we couldn't eat, sleep or FUNCTION without trying to hunt them down and kill them!
Since then, we have worked on desensitizing him on the whole "fly issue"! Now, we can live with one or two flies in the house without life coming to a complete halt!
Tonight, Jaxson informed me of a new kind of fly.....or a new name rather. There are the huge horse flies, and then of course the small fruit fly, but the middle sized fly (house fly as we know it) is now referred to as the "dog fly."
When Jaxson told me of this "dog fly", I had a puzzled look on my face. He said, "I call it a dog fly because they LOVE to eat dog poop!"
Well, he's got a point!

The Trap!
It's true, I too have fallen victim of the Trap. I knew nothing of the subject and truly didn't care. I showed no interest in learning about it either. I continued to read the constant raves about it all and I still showed minimal interest.
Then one day, I decided I would look into it. It grabbed hold of me and I couldn't get out! I am still fighting....but not so hard. It is taking all my spare time, causing my laundry to pile, and creating permanent dark circles under my eyes! Try as I might, I can't stop...but yet I don't want to either.
I finally broke free yesterday, until I got pulled back into a second trap....it's called New Moon!
The Trap? Yes, you too may have heard of it.....it's a little thing called The Twilight Saga!

Nothing Worthy???
So I suddenly realized the reason I haven't posted anything in such a long time, is that I was telling myself there was nothing really to share. Okay, so who am I kidding, my kids bust me up on a day to day basis!!!
I think the actually reality of it all, is that there has been TOO MUCH to share and I just didn't know where to start!
Let's see...since May....Kenna turned 2, Jaxson turned 5! Birthday parties for both, chaos all the way around. In between the fabulous, chaotic, wouldn't have it any other way, parties...DJ and I celebrated our 6th wedding Anniversary which happened to fall on Mother's Day this year! It was a good day, but where does the time go?
We also had a rather uneventful Memorial Day and followed that with Jaxson's awesome Preschool Graduation. It was so fun to be a part of it and I am so proud of how much he has grown and learned this year.
Then there was the girl's weekend in Boise with my mom and sister, which in turn, left Daddy at home for a mommy-free weekend. I think we were all glad to get back to normal. However, I cannot tell you how impressed I was to receive flowers for myself and my mom at the airport, AND the kids were dressed in clothes that looked great. (I should mention that I had a list typed out of outfits though) Even more impressive, was the fact that Kenna's hair was combed and even up in pig tails! When I asked Kenna if she let Daddy do her hair, she told me Grandpa did it! DJ later told me that he couldn't do it so he took her to my dad's house to have him put it up. I guess the practice of raising 3 girls paid off......20 some years later. It was just funny, but I was thoroughly impressed with my Dad's ability and DJ's efforts to make sure she looked nice.
We returned home from Spokane (where I flew out) and had 2 days to catch up on laundry and such, then went to Seattle for a couple days for DJ's cousin's Graduation/Birthday party!
We are now planning for my sister to come up this week and we will head to Spokane for a 4th of July celebration!
Besides all the "events" going on, I have been half-heartedly working on potty training with Kenna, due to all the events and the daily swim lessons......it's hard to do it when you are gone all the time. However, there has been progress, so I will continue to work at it.
So there is my chaotic reason, lame as it may be, for not posting what I thought to be not post worthy! I will try harder!
