Hello there!!

So apparently having two children has wreaked havoc on my blogging.  I just can't seem to find the time.  Miss Kynlee is almost a year old people!!  My babies are too growing too fast for my liking and I'm just trying to keep up.  Most of the time I feel like I'm just keeping my head above water with work and everything else. But all and all we are just living life and enjoying our babies.

Jaxon is still loving school and has learned SO much.  I'm so impressed by what his teachers have him doing.  He loves his role as big brother and is so stinking sweet to his sister....most of the time.  Kynlee has really takin a liking to him as well.  No one can make her laugh the way he can.

Well here are some pictures of my precious babies for those of you that have not seen them plastered all over my facebook page. :)

Jaxons 1st day of Preschool

Jaxon had his first day of preschool last week.  He absolutely LOVES it!! He has been doing awesome and everyone just loves him, which makes this momma so proud. He is just becoming such a big boy. I'm so proud of the independent boy he is but it also makes me sad that he doesn't need me as much. This boy just lights up my world and God has blessed me beyond measure!!

3 Months

Kynlee is 3 months old!!  I know I'm her momma and all but I just think she is the cutest thing ever!!  We have had some rough times with Miss K.  She has silent reflux and has had colic.  Our pedi said that they usually grow out of it around month three and it would seem like we had a new baby...well she knows her stuff because month three has done the trick.  This sounds silly now but I was so worried that my baby was never going to smile and be happy, when I say rough I mean it was R.O.U.G.H.  My heart felt like it could break for her.  I hated seeing her in pain and so uncomfortable.  I'm so over the moon that that is all behind us and we are on to happy days with our sweet baby girl.

Kynlee Garce,
You are such a little joy to our family.  God knew just what he was doing when he sent you to us to complete our family.  I can't imagine our lives without you in it.  Your eyes just sparkle when you smile .  You love to talk to me when I'm getting you all swaddled up.  You are a morning person just like me.  I can really get you going with those smiles and laughs first thing in the morning.  You are very observant and love to look around.  We have finally found a formula that your little tummy likes.  I think we have tried just about every one of them on the market, including a prescription one.  You are eating 3-4 oz every three hours during the day and go about 6-8 hours at night.  You are starting to put yourself to sleep instead of momma and daddy bouncing you.  You take three pretty good naps throughout the day and some cat naps in between.

You went on your first trip this month and you did amazing!!  I was preparing everyone for the worst and boy did you prove me wrong.  We went to the coast and stayed in MiMi and PaPa's 5th wheel.  That thing sleeps a ton but I didn't know how you would like such tight quarters.  It didn't seem to phase you one bit.  I see many more trips to the coast in your future.

Your big brother loves you so much!!  He is already pretty protective over you.  Any time someone teases about taking you home with them, Jaxon gets a little upset.  He calls you "Kyn-wee" and I just love it.  I can't wait to see the relationship that grows between you two.

Babydoll, I love you more than I could ever put into words.   I have big dreams for you sweet girl!! I  pray that momma and daddy can raise you up the way the Lord wants us to.  I promise to always do my best by you and try to lead by example.

Love,
Momma
XOXO

Where do I start?!?

I will start with my new blog design!!  I love the simplicity of it....I also love the name.  I can't take credit for that little pun on the word forward.  That was all Laura of Sophie & Rory.  I told her I wanted to incorporate our last name and that's what she came up with.   I feel like it is so fitting because that's exactly what this little family is doing...we are moving forward to great memories!!

So it would take too long to catch up on everything that has been going on so I'm just going to give ya some pictures.  If you are my friend on FB these are old news.  I will try to get up to date now that I have a pretty blog and the fact that I'm off for the summer should help.  Now I just need to work on getting a picture of me that I like for my profile :(  Yuck there is nothing else I hate more than self portraits!!  Ok so on to my cuties!!

These are in no particular order....

We have been spending some time with our cousins...Christmas is going to be W.I.L.D but very fun!!

A little morning nap with daddy.  Pure sweetness and makes my heart flutter!!

My sweet little sunshine.  I just love this onesie my friend Molly got for Kynlee.

My handsome boy!!  We are in the process of potty training.  I wouldn't say it's 100% but we are close. Holy moly potty training is not for the faint of heart.  I hope what they say is true about boys being harder because I sure hope it's easier with K.

Jax is also taking swim lessons.  Today was his first lesson and he had a blast.  He did give me a slight heart attack when he went under when the coach was not looking.  He came up just about the same time momma almost ran in and jumped in with all her clothes.  He was just fine but I'm just a nut with him not having a life jacket on.

My pretty little girl Memorial Day weekend ready for Church

Ready for some more fun on Memorial Day

Sweet sweet smiles.  She loves to smile when you get her all swaddled up.

Ready for our train ride to start at the park one Sunday

Daddy and his babies one morning

Well I guess thats enough pics for now.  Like I said I will try to keep up as things happen.  I also need to do Kynlee's monthly post now that she is almost 3 months!!  Where oh where does the time go???

Miss. Kynlee Grace Ward is here!!

Kynlee was going to be an April fools baby but she decided to play a little trick of her own on us and arrived at 6:59 am on March 14th. Sweet girl is a chunky monkey just like they predicted. She weighed 7.13 and is 19 inches.

For being only 36 weeks and 1 day she is a strong little girl!! Unlike poor Jax Miss K is eating well and did not have to go to the NICU. Her blood sugars are great and so are her lungs.

I was so very worried when I started having contractions in the real early hours of Thursday. I had never really experienced real contractions so I was totally clueless as to if I was really in labor. I just knew I needed to have a c-section so better off safe than sorry. We got to the hospital around 4:00 am and they got me all hooked up. Sure enough the contractions were getting pretty close and strong. They checked me and I was a 1 1/2-2 and 90% so they said I would for sure see my baby girl that day!!

I knew my doctor was planning on going out of town and I was so worried she wouldn't be there but thankfully she loves me and when she got the call she rushed over!! I could not ask for better doctors I'm so blessed that they treat me more like a family member than a patient. She even gave me a little kiss on the cheek when visiting me in recovery!! What a doctor!!

Big brother doesn't know exactly what to think of his baby sister. When he first saw her he said he wanted a "big Kynlee". Bless his little heart I guess he thought she would just come right out and play with him. Then later he said "I guess she's kind of cute". Lol. So Kynlee has big brothers stamp of approval and he is just ready for us all to be home.

So that's the little story of how we became parents to our sweet, sweet, little chucks!! She has just completed our family and we could not be happier.

I will make sure and post more pictures later!!
