My brain is fried. I know they tell you that will happen when you're pregnant but I forget some of the stupidest things. But as I always do, I am not too good at getting out my camera. But at least I have some pictures to document the festivities.
Christmas Eve, I can't figure out if I'm suppose to want to do any celebrating of anything that day or what. How the day was spent was Daren stuck with his nephew(who was very nervous about not being in bed before Santa came) up at Porcupine Dam. I borrowed my parents new vacuum to see if it's the one I wanted, so I spent over an hour vacuuming my house. Seriously....we know how to party.
On Christmas day, I woke up before Daren did and just did some cleaning and work around the house. Once Daren woke up we opened each other gifts. He says I'm hard to buy gifts for, but he always blows me away with how fantastic of a job he does! He got me some sewing stuff as I plan to make baby Gus's baby bedding. Baby Gus is also the proud owner of some Aggie apparel, some bought by me, some bought by Daren. After that, we headed up to my parents house for the Christmas celebration!
Boston Family Christmas just wasn't the same this year. We celebrated the 26th-28th but Brian and his family chose to not come out this year, as they'll be moving back soon enough. We did the gift exchange on the 26th. Michael and AJ had us....OH NO!....but they did so well! I actually really liked my gift. Including a baby's owner manual, which I think is great. We thankfully did get to Skype the Philly Bostons and I always forget how much I miss them.
On the 27th, I(Daren had to work these days...bummer) went out to Kelsi's new house and had breakfast....and then lunch.....and then we went bowling. Me and Audrey were a team....
....... She was thrilled can't ya tell?
Later that night instead of doing our usual gingerbread house decorating...we decided to decorate "gingerbread men" but really we wanted sugar cookies. But everyone had to decorate the cookie as someone else. It was hilarious. I wish I had gotten all of the cookies because they were good. The picture below, from left to right, it was me- made by Joe (and my pregnant belly) Andria-made my Kelsi(and her old permed hair) my mom- made my Kennady and then mine is the one on the bottom...which was of Kelsi.
The "winner" was Audrey...made by my mom.
Overall, it was a really good time. I'm sad we didn't get a chance to get down to Daren's parent's. The Gordon's picked one of the days that my family had already scheduled everything. I'm so grateful for everyone and everything they did for Daren and I during the holidays.....
Oh and PS...yes, I loved my parents vacuum I bought my own. Yipee!!!!

Smurf Turf
I had the super awesome, wonderful, fantastic, etc experience to go to Boise for the Boise vs USU football game. I've become a "good friend" (probably more me thinking that than the other way around) and I asked him if he could get my dad, he originally wanted to take my mom to the game, some tickets for the game. He came through for us and got enough tickets we could go. Unfortunately, my mom couldn't make it so it was just me, my dad, and AJ.
I have always hated that blue field. It really is hideous. I'm glad they have now passed something that says you can have different colored turf. AJ is the one who told me that so who knows how much truth there is to that but I'll take it! There were some great things Boise did that I really appreciate it...first their marching band played our fight song. There were only a few of us Aggie fans but I think we all really loved it. Also, they have a dog fetch the kickers stand thing. I don't know how to even explain that better but a trained football dog. I WANT ONE!
I was glad to see my boys one last time this season...even if it was an embarrassing loss 14-50. The drive was definitely long...but I'm glad I got it out of my system when I'm 21 weeks rather than when I'm bigger or with a kid. But I'm good to have a stay at home weekend.

All Cause I Wanted A Good Buffet...
After my doctors appointment last week, I was on the go! We left immediately after to Daren's parents house to begin the Thanksgiving festivities. The roads thankfully weren't too awful after that "Storm of the Century" {whoomp, whoomp}
Thanksgiving was a great success, no pictures to document the day of course. We did have family pictures taken since it was the first time ALL Gordon family members were present. I can't wait to see them.
My birthday festivities were fantastic! Back tracking.. One Sunday a couple weeks ago I was talking about how I'd give anything for Logan to have a decent buffet (I'm sorry, I mean NICE buffet, no Golden Corral or Chuck O Rama) so Kelsi suggested we go to Vegas for my birthday. I think everyone thought we'd get over it but no such luck. Us 4 headed to Vegas for my birthday.
We stayed at the Stratosphere. I didn't get many pictures, I have to use my picture taking time with Daren sparingly. We watched the Christmas Bellagio fountain thing and I loved it. That was a lot of walking for me apparently though, I couldn't do much unfortunately.
On Saturday we went to the Bellagio buffet. I probably could have eaten more than I really ended up eating. They had some wicked good sushi. Kelsi tried the duck. But my favorite section was definitely the desserts...They had these white chocolate nutella ice cream cone things. Oh geez....
We left really early on Sunday morning because of the storm that was going to be coming in. I'd still say we hit it but we still made pretty good time.
My parents watched Meli, Wes & Heather had Kona. You could tell Meli was tuckered out last night. I took this picture. I love when my dogs lay like humans on our bed. I missed them so much!
Now, I'll share some pictures of my lil stud muffin. I love technology. I couldn't have survived the days before finding out what you're going to have. But I really didn't expect the 3d pictures to be so fantastic either. I mean, for crying out loud, that is my baby!
Much better than the regular pictures.... Baby Gus(the name will be Gus until he arrives or once me and Daren can agree on a name...which ever comes first) does have some clothes that I bought in Vegas. I can't wait to begin getting everything ready now. Oh my baby is so sweet already!

It's The Tradition
So You Think You Can Dance Tour 2010!
It came and was a fun night. To be honest, I didn't even love this last season....or so I thought. Then as the dancers danced I remembered how many great dances(and dancers) there were! I did take a lot of pictures, but they're lame to post. How could I have forgotten I was going to get to see Dominic again?! I seriously have the biggest crush on him. If only we could have scored some awesome backstage passes again this year.
The first highlight of my night was when Russell(krumper) Jose(hip hop) and Dominic(b-boy) did a little dance number...but not only that Dominic started dancing to Justin Bieber. I loved it. Seriously, I'm obsessed.
2nd highlight of the night was after Lauren and Kent did their prom routine, with a kiss at the end, they did a new dance to the Kesha/3Oh3 song My First Kiss. It was hilarious. I really enjoyed it.
Besides the SYTYCD tour I had such a busy weekend. I loved it, keeps me distracted enough that the next 2 weeks until I am able to find out what I'm having go by fast.
- I went to the doctor, all is well. Seriously, 2 weeks! I can't stand it. I dream about having a boy all the time. It'll be named Gus if Daren has anything to do with it.....
- I finally got my car back. I hated my rental, a BRIGHT red hhr.
- I went to the JJ Cole Warehouse sale. I got a diaper bag. I was mostly excited to get the diaper bag over with. I knew what I wanted. We, meaning Kelsi and I, got some other baby stuff for screaming deals.
- I went to Kelsi's Super Saturday. I made two crafts. Daren still has yet to notice them....?
- I went to the Aggie game. Everyone was busy I almost had to go alone, but AJ went with me. We won. It was nice to finally win. Unfortunately, there is only one more home game. Sad.

Fall Festivities
I really like Halloween I think. I don't enjoy the whole dressing up but I felt like my Halloween was lacking other Halloween type events this year. I didn't carve my pumpkin as usual. I almost didn't get to watch Hocus Pocus. I felt Halloween snuck up on me this year. Oh well, I'm looking forward to November so that could be why.
Thankfully, when Daren was out of town, I convinced the sibs(plus Chris) to go to a corn maze with me. I'd been dying to go, even if it was haunted. I knew I probably wouldn't be able to handle the haunt, especially a chain saw- those things terrify me- but I loved a good corn maze when I was in high school. And boy, I "likes" must have definitely changed since then. It was a really good time, after the fact. But while I was in the corn maze I was terrified. I am a wuss I know this. At one point, the chain saw started revving and I lost it. I ran the opposite way, tackled Chris, tripped and fell into the corn. Not my finest moment. But we did make it out fast- thank you for being the smart Bostons you are!
Now, here is the dreaded belly picture. Do you know how awful these are? You don't until you take them. But I really don't enjoy this. But here is my 16 week belly in all it's glory. It definitely popped over night over the weekend. Hopefully when I go to the doctor on Friday they will tell me everything will be good.
P.S. I voted this morning before work. I'm so proud of myself. I'm awesome.

2 Weddings and One Tough Car...
As I said last week I had 2 weddings this past weekend. I had been looking forward to both of these for quite some time. Becky Matousek, my long time childhood friend, got married on October 15th down in Sandy at a place called Heritage Gardens. It was GORGEOUS! I have never been to a religious ceremony, non LDS obviously. It was a very traditional wedding. By far the most formal I've ever been to. It was really fun to spend the afternoon and evening with my family, sans husbands and brothers. I thought I was going to die on the drive down, I can't sit patiently in cars these days.
Becky was a gorgeous bride. I can tell her husband Erik will make her incredibly happy. I'm sad that they will be moving to the east coast...I didn't see Becky often but now I know I'll never see her.
Her nephew stole the show on the dance floor. I wish I didn't have so much pride so I could "let loose" But really, the shoes I was wearing wouldn't have allowed it anyways.
On Saturday, my very best friend from high school, Whitney, got married. It was the complete opposite to Becky's formal wedding. It was very Whitney though. I couldn't have picture anything else from her. She got married here in Logan at the new Accolades at Hamilton's. It was a really pretty building. I was honored that I got invited to the ceremony.
There were a few things about her wedding she was incredibly excited about...her bouquet(I wish I had gotten a better picture) and her wedding cake. She loves Hello Kitty!
This picture makes me look a lot larger than I really am getting folks. But it was comfortable and quite frankly that is all I care about these days.
Now, you know I can't post a happy post without something going wrong...I have HORRIBLE luck. On my way to my parents house for wedding #1, I was stopped at a stop light and some guy was apparently distracted by the construction that he slammed right into the back of my car. Thankfully, that scion of mine is a tough cookie because, as you can see, it held up a lot better than his. I am SO grateful nothing worse happened to me because me and hippo(me and Daren have called "it" this since day one because we hate calling it, it so sorry) are just fine. It could have been a lot worse I'm sure. Dang cars.....one day I promise myself to have an unwrecked car.

I'm Behind
I have been really busy the past two weeks. I unfortunately didn't really take any pictures. Go figure.
But I am almost 13 weeks now and feeling SOOO much better. I have actually been really worried something could be wrong. I went to the doctor this morning and all is well. And we will find out what the little bugger is the day before Thanksgiving (Best birthday present ever...no that's not my birthday but close enough) I am not even remotely showing, not that I expect that I should. I haven't even really put on any weight but.....my fat pants don't even really fit too comfortably. I have my energy back and it's super! My appetite still comes and goes but I can now drink milk again. That was probably the one thing I have missed the most.
When my energy was lacking I made myself of 6 tiny tasks that seemed incredibly overwhelming but told myself I wasn't allowed to go to the USU vs BYU game. Unfortunately, I knew I would never seriously not go if I didn't get those things done. But I did get 5 of the 6 things done...and not due to the fact I didn't try. I just knew I shouldn't be lifting a heavy tv. The game.... oh that beautiful game! Daren was out of the town but boy did he let me know just how horribly the Aggies would once again lose. I told him there was still a chance. Little did I know just how glorious that win would end up being. Cosmo ended up coming right up to us so I snapped this picture with my phone to send to Daren because he has earned himself the nickname Cosmo at work...
I also, along with my mom and Kelsi, threw a bridal shower for our bestest childhood friend, Becky. I'm so excited Becky is getting married on the 15th than my best friend from high school, Whitney is getting married on the 16th. Busy, busy, busy
Seth and Megan are coming up for the weekend for Daren's elk hunt. Thankfully Megan will go shopping with me for larger pants and new dresses for the weddings.

I Dream Of Living In Stars Hallow
Well, of course, you all guessed it. I am indeed having a baby. Holy smokes, sometimes saying it out loud makes it all the more real. Our baby's due date is April 17th. Sounds like a good day to have a baby right? I can't keep secrets too long. It's a miracle I kept it until I was almost 10 weeks. But once I started telling people I almost wanted to keep it to myself, I worried about so many things.
I have been pretty sick since I found out. I've gotten my routine down to avoid any huge problems. Thankfully, it's hunting season so Daren is ok if I put everything off, he has been too. Eating is a chore for the first time in my life. You know me, I love food. I think something sounds good because I remember I loved it but it isn't.
I really have done nothing the past few weeks, which is incredibly hard for me. All I do is sit and watch Gilmore Girls. I don't have much energy these days. Hope that'll change here in a couple weeks.
I don't feel pregnant, other than being sick, but apparently I must be "showing" somewhat because a patient last week asked me as they were leaving when I was due. This isn't the first time she has commented on my weight, seriously I don't want to be a blunt older person. I was shocked the say the least.....
But thank you for all your wonderful comments. We're very excited to say the least. Daren is really hoping for a girl(surprisingly) I really don't care what we have- I picture myself with a girl but I think everyone does, I'm just ready to find out.

Loyal Fan, I Am
The first home football game was this past weekend. I know I don't have to repeat it, but I always do, I love my Aggies! It's amazing how loyal I am. They played Idaho State. They unfortunately got a little cocky at the end and what could have been 38-3 final became 38-17. The game was much more packed than it has been in years past.
AJ, Kels and Chris came with us this year. I even got to enjoy my stadium hot dog...and I realized after I was done eating it was the first one I have eaten without braces in a very long time. How splendid.

Here is a picture of me and Daren from the 2008 football season
Then here is one from the game last year
Like I said, I'm loyal....whether they suck or could possibly stand a chance to win a few more games.

Bear Lake 2010
This year the Boston clan headed to Bear Lake for 5 days. It was a GOOD time! Unfortunately, because it was so close, or poor planning, we ended up not all being able to be there the same days. Me, AJ, my dad, Andria and her girls were the only ones there the whole time. We started off the adventure by going to Bear Lake Pizza.
Of course, even though there is one in Logan, no Bear Lake trip is complete without a shake from La Beau's.
On the second day, even though it was SUPER cloudy, it was the only day Joe was going to be there so that was the day we decided to get the sea-doos. I did not want to ride them. After Joe hassling me too much, I decided to hop on. BIG MISTAKE, ok, it wasn't horrible but Joe goes a tad faster than I dare. And he almost tipped the dang thing. My nieces LOVED the speed and getting splashed.
Every night we played some sort of game. 80's Scene It, Apples to Apples, or Trivial Pursuit. This is what we (Andria, Joe and I) came home to the kids doing after our 4.2 mile run (yes be impressed..)
We got to see some animals. We saw the biggest sheep I've ever seen. Audrey really wanted to ride one of the cows....but only if they got bathed first.
On Saturday, we rented bikes to ride around. It was the highlight of my trip. Avery loved it. She was Dorothy and Audrey was Toto and we kept singing the Wizard of Oz song.
Sydney, Kennady, Andria and I were on one carriage bike. AJ was on his own little low rider bike. My mom and dad were on another carriage bike. We did switch around. The low rider one was pretty darn fun, some man laughed at me while I was on it.
After our bike ride we played some mini golf at the KOA. It was pretty hilarious. I was the only one to get a hole in one. AJ won over all though!
Then Saturday afternoon we hit the beach again. And built the most awesome sand castle with a moat. I was sad to have the trip end. But more than happy to see my pups and sleep in my own bed!

It got kind of cold so I liked to lay in the sun....
We went to lunch at Cafe Sabor and the Motor Lodge
Audrey really liked doing peoples hair. Here she is doing Mikey's.
On Friday, Daren finally joined us, and we went to the Bear Lake County Fair. OH MY GHETTO! It was fantastic for a good laugh. We went to the FREE hypnotist, and let me tell ya, I'm glad I didn't waste one dime. Daren was really excited to buy this hat, he wears it every chance he gets now. Kelsi and Andria volunteered to get hypnotized. "My mom is totally asleep....*Andria laughs*.....ok maybe she's not"
Here is where the guy FORCED, with much force, them to lay down.
It really was the worst thing I have ever been to. But it was good for many stories. The littlest girls thought it was a good time. Daren and AJ ended up getting up to leave. We got to see some animals. We saw the biggest sheep I've ever seen. Audrey really wanted to ride one of the cows....but only if they got bathed first.
