Saint George

Ok, so my dad had this crazy idea to take a week and a half off of work.  I knew I'd be real bored but got this crazy idea maybe me and Hudson should go visit Andria and her girls down in St. George.  Kelsi had the chance to come along for the ride, so why wouldn't she want to come?

I waited what seemed like forever to have it actually come! I won't lie, I was absolutely terrified at taking Hudson in a car for 6 hours! He has never had a problem riding in the car but 6 hours!? How do you entertain a 11 month old in a car? Well, no worries he slept the entire time! Minus one quick {ghetto} stop to change a diaper it was SMOOTH sailing.  Even the weather didn't really cooperate but I was cruising! I think I was too excited about going, otherwise I would have been a nervous wreck driving in what I did. Regardless of the journey, we made it! And Hudson still even slept ok the first night even with all that sleeping in the car.

I love my nieces to pieces! They were so excited to see us Hudson! It was fun because Audrey only has school two mornings a week and Avery only had school in the morning.  We did lots of fun things.  Seriously, you won't believe what we crammed in! I even told Andria there was NO way I could have 4 kids if it meant keeping that busy of a schedule every day!

On Monday, I got to experience Zumba for the first time with Andria at her gym.  It was so much fun! I wish I had someone to go with occasionally up here! But you know what St. George has a lot of? Senior Citizens!!! Oh geez, that class was hilarious with the old ladies(and one dude) shaking their thing!
On Monday night, the older girls had their schools version of Reflections.  It really was pretty much a talent show.  Diversity was the theme and let me tell you that was a stretch! But it was hilarious.  I loved it. Kennady and Sydney each painted a picture.
On Tuesday afternoon my little boy got to experience swimming for the first time.  I knew he'd just love it because of how much he loves the tub.  WRONG! He was so scared.  He wouldn't let go of me.

Finally, after we gave him some time to warm up he got right into his floatie without any hesitation! He even started to relax and kick his legs.  I was so proud of him, as silly as that sounds.  And my boy is bound to a little brown boy.  He was only outside for 1 hours with heavy sunscreen on and still ended up with a wicked tan! I'm green with envy.  All I got was a sunburn [SHOCK]

On Tuesday night the older girls had a choir concert.  Again, school events are hilarious! But I am so glad I got to experience the Touachan.  It is really gorgeous down there.  As we were stuck in traffic leaving, Andria started mentioning how the Biggest Loser Resort was right across from her subdivision. I then proceeded to tell her how I follow Sione on twitter and I know that he works there and it would be crazy to run into him...
.....Jump to Wednesday morning when Kennady and Sydney had their little track meet.  Before it had started there was someone running laps and I turned to Andria and said, "Remember that guy I was talking about last night from Biggest Loser? I think that is him"  I really had some serious doubts that it could be until he took his jacket off and the back of his shirt said S Fa. I was star struck [let's go ahead and say I get star struck over the most unusual people] Anyways, Andria thankfully made me go over and get a picture with him.  He apologized for being a sweaty mess and I pretty much explained that I wouldn't expect him any other way.
Well, the girls did excellent on their runs! Kennady got 1st in both of her races and Sydney got 2nd in both of hers.   That means they will be racing in the district now.  This is a direct quote from the guy sitting behind us "Did you see that girl in the pink? She was FLYING!" Yep, that's our girl!!!
Wednesday was a busy day! It was Ms. Avery Ann's birthday also! I can not believe she turned 6!  It was really fun helping Andria with everything getting ready for it.  There was easter egg dying, easter basket decorating and even an easter egg hunt! I'll be honest, I was a jealous of the hunt!
That night was the GREATEST night, and a wonderful way to end the trip.  We went out to eat for Avery's  (and I guess Hudson's) birthday(s).  We went to the Pizza Factory.  My boy can put away some food!!
But the real fun began after dinner.....with pictures! We were all laughing so so hard.  Andria has quite the posers on her hands.  I wish I had stolen some pictures from Kelsi(she was the photographer) because it shows the personalities of my nieces beautifully.

Unfortunately, the night had to come to an end because someone peed their pants [what Boston event doesn't involve a wetting your pants situation]  But there was fun to be had by EVERYONE! I can only imagine what bystanders were thinking.

Well, I was sad to come home on Thursday. Seriously, I could live there.  I never thought I'd say that but it was the best days of my life! Thanks so much Andria! Steal away with these pictures! I'm so glad I blogged about this because you know what's next.....It's huge! It's probably the biggest thing to happen since 365 days ago! Get ready....it'll be a good one!
