Now that I'm back in Penang, I miss my darling even more. But, hols have been treating me really good so far. It's nice being home. Things aren't as dull as I thought it'd be. Will try to update more when the lazy bug's gone hee ;)

Our Day Out in the City!

Yesterday was awesome!

I woke up at 11am something which i've not done in a long time! After a good night sleep, I went out with Cal for our "surprise" date. He was supposed to take me somewhere new and he wouldn't let me know as usual. Well, he loves surprising me when we sort of dated before we got together last time. The only hint he let me in was 'up-in-the-sky' and guess what? This brilliant mind of mine got it like a min or 2 right after and my guessed was right! KL tower was our destination. However, I decided not to go up when we're there cos the price is killing! Entirely not worth the money spent. So we just hang around and took pics and then decided to go to KLCC.

Upon arriving, we had waffles, burger n empal penyet! :D well he had to eat more of cos as I hardly ever finished my food. I've been repeatedly accused of fattening him up eversince we got together LOL. Then we decided to catch a movie and we watched Karate Kid. I noe right, its been out long but we still haven't gotten the chance to till yesterday. Karate Kid was a superbly great movie. I so like Jayden Smith! I also can't help but notice that Jackie Chan's movies lately hasn't much of his own fighting scene. Guess age is really catching up on him. Ooh please note the "Never Say Never" song at the end of the movie. It's Justin Bieber and Jayden Smith! Hahaha Cal's got issues with JB! I dunno what's wrong with guys n JB ;p On the other hand, I actually find that song kinda cute.

After that, we decided to go to Bukit Bintang. I told him I wanted to go there after exams cos I jz simply adore the night lightings in the area. We had a stroll n it was already almost 10pm. We saw this sign in red, "Food Walk" i think.. and we decided to take a look. It was an uderground food place with classy hawker stalls. Reminds a lil of China Town in movies. When I saw the flavored ice shavings dessert, I wanted to eat there immediately. The mango & passion fruit shavings were really good. I ordered beef noodles & Cal ordered the salted roast duck rice. His was better than mine tho a tad salty for my own liking. The beef noodles apparently was reviewd by a few food journalists but I didn't really like it.

With our very full tummies, we took a stroll again around pavillion, starhill and then mariott hotel. We basically did nothing else but just walk hand-in-hands :) The best thing about yesterday was, it all was sort of unplanned. We just go with the flow, do whatever we feel like doing. Whatever we feel like doing or eating, we just do it. And the highlight of the day was of course my sweetheart. The day wouldn't be the same or as special with anyone else :)

Hehe. Alright I shall stop with all the mushiness before u guys throw up LOL. I gtg. Lunch date at Shogun with my friends from Penang in less than an hour! :D

And I rejoice because I'm free!!!

Ohyess exam's over and the sweet smell of freedom lingers in the air! Last paper was easy! Cal came over the night before my last paper to help me with QBA. I didn't want to do badly for another paper right after ME. So yeah, I did well and I even finished 45 minutes before time. Stressful exam week is finally over!!

Cal came over after his work in the afternoon to meet up and of cos celebrate my freedom. Haha sorry I had to keep repeating the word FREEdom! It's just really a huge relief from my lifeless routine for the past 3 weeks. So, we decided to catch a movie and this was the only movie that suited our time:

The Verdict: Entertaining! There are a lot of unrealistic parts in which Tom Cruise would miraculously saved the both of their lives through heroic stunts, and in which most parts the process weren't even exactly shown. But apart from that, it really is entertaining. I've never really been fond of Diaz but I must say her role in this movie is good. She's especially cute when she was drugged to tell the truth. Haha nuff said.. I don't wanna spoil the movie for those who plan to watch it.

Oh yes, the Austria night scene makes me wanna go there one day! Haha I dunno if it's possible tho. Quote from the movie: "Someday. That's a dangerous word. It's really just a code for 'never'."

Haha quite true isnt it? :P

We went for Yuen Steamboat Dinner with Cal's best friend from high school, Kenneth and his gf Wei Ting. I learnt that Cal was such a naughty boy during high school. Really really naughty haha! And yes, I have another competitor from the gay department now that Kenneth's in lol.

Anyway, I've got activities lined up till Wed! I'm so so happy and excited. Lunch with Sharon and some IMU friends today; surprise day with Cal tomorrow; lunch with wilson the monkey on sat; God's day on sun of cos :P ; Mon-Wed: Setiawan & Pangkor with Cal & uni friends! This is probably the first time I'm not going back to Penang right after or a few days after exam hehe. Anyways, have a blessed week ahead y'all!

Last paper tomorrow, and more of calculation sigh. Quantitative Business Analysis, please don't dissapoint me.

Perks needed

Mygosh I extremely hate routines! I've been waking up with a constant need to study and be really prepared for exams. This study week has not been as stressful as the past tho. Cal coming to uni everyday to study with me makes things much better.

But yet again, I HATE ROUTINE STUDYING! It doesn't help that I had so many bad dreams last night. It was a continuos dream of suicide, death and betrayal. I woke up screaming twice i think.. sigh. Worse part was, it was already 8 plus when I woke up this morning. Right before climbing out of bed, I heard a weird baby voice. I was shocked because it was clearly audible. I thought it might be from my roommate's funny alarm, that she might have forgotten her phone when she went back to her hometown. After a few minutes, the same sound came again. I stood up trying to locate the sound source. I stood real still in front of my window and the same sound came again. I wasn't afraid, especially since its already bright but all the same I went to wake my housemate up. She came in and look around and I described to her the sound, she said it was the exact same sound she had heard few hours back at the corridor.

Oh wells, I would have normally freaked out really badly but I'm not sure why this time round I wasn't. It was just pretty disturbing thats all. Mum prayed with me over the phone and I felt much better after that. I took a quick shower and then walked straight to uni and here I am blogging. I mean studying.

Yes, back to my rant. I hate studying................ but I need to now. Have been quite unproductive these 2 days. Just feeling a bit lifeless.

My study notes are calling out to me now. Better than the freaky voice i guess. Bye!
