Well this is Jay's second post in a row, but I just wanted to share a story with you. Most of you know that I am currently doing my student teaching. Right now I am teaching Elementary Education PE. It is a lot of fun. But my favorite part is that I get to teach Jay's class each Tuesday. Well, yesterday during his PE class, one of the Aide's at the school heard Jay call me Mom instead of Mrs. Graham. I reminded Jay that at School I am Mrs. Graham but he doesn't seem to care. Anyway, the Aide looked at me and said, "Oh, is Jay your son?" I replied, "Yes, he's my oldest." She went on to tell me that all the girls in first grade had crushes on Jay and often whispered or pointed at him when he passed. Even her little student that she works with each day, I think her name is Abby, often picked Jay first when choosing partners.
I said, "That's funny because Jay is a shy little guy and doesn't even like me to comb his hair." Her reply to that was, "Oh he's so nice to everyone and his face is so sweet, he could make dirt look good!"
I thought this was a cute story and I haven't posted in awhile so I thought I would share.
