Monkey See, Monkey Do!!
Jay auditioned for the play, "The Jungle Book" last week. The play was produced by The Missoula Children's Theatre. Auditions are on Monday for two hours. About 60 children are selected. Over the week they practice everyday and then on Saturday they perform the play. Jay was cast as a monkey. It was so fun to see him on stage with the other children. He really had a lot of fun. Here is a video clip from the play and some pictures..JPG)

Idaho Cowboys
Jay and Sarah both have cowboy gear from their Grandfather Graham. A few years ago he spoiled Jay with the full get up. Jay and Sarah went to Walmart a few days ago and Jay decided he was going to spend his $5 that he had received from his Grandma on a cowboy hat. I bought Sarah one and they have been dressing up ever since. I decided to take some pictures because I don't know how much longer they will both be able to fit into the outfits.
Plus they looked so darn cute!
Summer Bike Riding
Sarah and Kaitlyn both received new bikes this year. We have two girls and no girl bikes. All the bikes so far were hand me down bikes from their brother. Which is no big deal except the tires on them are flat and Sarah really struggled with riding them. Here is Kaitlyn on her bike.
Sarah on her bike.
Here is a little video for all to enjoy. I can honestly say I didn't know how long it would be before Sarah would ride a bike. I had faith it would happen, but for the past two years she has tried with no luck. This year she triumphed. I truly feel that this bike is one of the best purchases I have ever made.

Tee Ball
Sarah's first tee ball game was tonight. As most of you know, Sarah has struggles that most five year olds do not deal with. I am constantly questioning where to draw the lines with her physical abilities. However, for the last two years, Jay has played tee ball and Sarah has asked over and over when her turn would be. After much deliberation, Marcus and I signed her up this year. I decided I would coach her team and that way I could offer any additional assistance that she might need. Well, tonight was her first game and she truly shined.
Here is a picture of her batting.

I moved the girls around throughout the game and let them play lots of different positions. In this picture, Sarah was playing catcher. The helmet was WAY too big for her head so she played without one. I stood in front or next to her when necessary.

As you can see, Sarah was grinning from ear to ear in almost every picture and almost the whole game. It was sooooo rewarding to see her having so much fun. I am so thankful that Sarah is mine and that I get the opportunity to see her grow and fluorish. By the way, if any of you are contemplating coaching your childrens sports, I highly recommend tee ball. What a hoot!!

A Visit From Grandma and Grandpa!!
Marcus's parents were in town for a few days about two weeks ago. And needless to say, my children were in heaven. It was so fun to spend a few days with them. They helped with a number of projects around the house and Marcus and Jim snuck off and fished when they could. Jim even caught fish this time. Here is a picture of Grandma and her Idaho girls.
Judy took this pic of the kids before church.
