Granger's homecoming football game will be held Friday, September 25th. Tailgate party starts at 5:30 pm, game starts at 7:00 pm.

Here's the official info:

Dinner and a game ticket — only $5 per person!

• Dinner (hot dog or hamburger, chips and a drink), 5:30-6:30 p.m.; $3 per person

• Homecoming game, Granger vs. Hunter, 7 p.m.; reserved seating, $2 per person for you and each member of your family

• Alumni parking available on the driving range west of the park (accessible from 3500 South or the pool parking lot), north of the football field

• Mingle with your fellow graduates and classmates

Just wanted to share the news that Phillip James Nielsen (PJ) was killed in an accident on Bangerter Highway this past Thursday morning. News like this is never fun to share. You can view his obituary here.

We will be meeting at 5 p.m. at Bucca Di Beppo at Fort Union and 9th East.

The dance starts at 7 p.m. up at Rice Eccles Stadium. GHS has reserved a room for the grand event. Tickets will be available to buy at the door.

So bring your spouse or significant other, or just bring yourself. This is going to be a fun night! Hope to see you all there!

**UPDATE: The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Church house on 4100s Bangerter building. The viewing the night before will be at Valley View (the one by Winder Dairy). You can view his obituary here.

I just wanted to let you know that Brian Carlson's Dad passed away early this morning. He had heart surgery last week, and has had health problems since I was a kid. I know this must be hard for Brian and his family. Please add them to your prayers. I will update with the arrangements when I hear.
