This weekend was especially bad. On Saturday morning, Emily woke up feeling some pain in her esophogus. Unfortunately, it turned into another full blown attack. It was awful. Luckily, we found that her being in the shower really helped with the pain. She had me rub her back until she couldn't stand the pain and then went for the shower. That happened all day long. At about 8 or so at night she started feeling better and I was feeling relieved. She fell asleep but popped awake again with severe pain about midnight. She was up the whole night getting in and out of the shower. I couldn't sleep with her in that condition either. At about 4 we both fell asleep for a couple of hours, luckily. The pain was back in the morning. I spent another day rubbing her back. She started feeling better about 1 or 2. After that we just kind of layed there. Emily slept a little. I stayed awake until about 8:30 and then just crashed. It was really nice to get to sleep the whole night through. I wish Emily didn't go through such horrific pain.

I am just really glad that Emily is back. I was so sick of being alone with only the dog to talk to. I am so glad she is home.
