We're Having Too Much Fun Over Here to Blog

And here's the post where I catch up on the last month!

PLAYTIME
She's inspecting his head-shaving job from earlier that morning

Yep, no hair here!

Superman!
Cobra!

She was playing with the sunshine...it was so cute!

TRIP TO TN
The last weekend in September we went to TN to see Greg's family. It had been 9 months since our last visit which was way too long! We timed our visit with Greg's high school friend, Kate's, wedding.
Greg with his BFF Alan

Kate, the beautiful bride, and a beautiful outdoor wedding

Can you believe we've been married almost 6 years?

There's nothing like a baby's skin to make your looks old and wrinkly.

Some Papa Love

Greg and Miles

Tya Love

Quinn has a lot of energy!

And Natalie is trying to out-do her!

Krista, David, Tommy and Julia

Ty loves his cousin Julia!

But Julia doesn't love her mom's kisses.

And we were lucky to be serenaded by this amazing guitar, harmonic, percussion trio. They actually had music notes written on a piece of paper and were "reading the music." I can't wait for Julia to join them when she's older.

And let's catch up on some cute outfit pics...

Our little owl

Peace, love and drugs...er...I mean....antibiotics, baby. Yes, our hippi made it through her first ear infection!

FAMOUS PEOPLE
This is Bert Lucarelli. He is one of the most famous oboists in the world and I hosted him for my Double Reed Day at GSU. Can you believe Bert Lucarelli is holding my baby!!!!!?????

And this is Lenny Hindell who also came for the event. He played bassoon with the New York Philharmonic for over 40 years. But most importantly, he loved my daughter.

MOBILITY
At first she could only scoot backwards. She always ended up in a corner and I couldn't help but think every time of the Dirty Dancing quote, "Nobody puts Baby in a corner." Obviously she hasn't seen that movie yet.
And she would end up under the couch, and with the playard between her legs. Can't be comfortable...

Under chairs
But people, we're moving forward now! Crawling is about to happen any day!
And my favorite pic of all times....PLANK! She wins the push-up contests we have at our house (which I assure you Greg and I compete in all the time) hands down every time!

6 Month Photo Shoot

Yes, if you're on facebook, you've probably already seen these. But for those of you who aren't, here are the cutest pictures ever! Thank you Erin for doing such a great job! Julia is at the cutest age and I wish I could freeze time and just keep her this size for forever.

This post is a month late, but at 7 months she's still just shy of the 15 pound mark (14 lbs and 14.5 ounces as of yesterday)

The reflux has gotten remarkably better, but she got her first ear infection which threw us for a loop. Now here comes the teeth. There are days when I look at her and say, "I don't know you anymore. I have no idea what you want." She's keeping us on our toes!

And we're keeping her on her toes!

She's inherited her mom's "black look"....Good luck to all of those teachers who are going to receive this look in her school days.

She loves tummy time and can spend hours planking, doing downward dog, push-ups, and this pose which we call "superman." She is seriously one strong baby!

And I asked Erin to help me recreate my baby picture. I love that she looks like her mama and that she's looking at her mama!
