Don't really know where to pick up..... so I guess I'll just start where I left off and go from there.

The boys started school in September:

They were enthusiastic for Halloween:

Emmett turned 2 in November:

Dax turned 8 in December and was baptized by his dad:

And we have been able to visit family for every major holiday:

In between all this we have installed windows, filled a dump truck, planted shrubs and trees, put up a fence, had plumbing problems, fixed the furnace, bought a new fridge, sprayed for spiders, added trim to a few windows, painted, finished a sewing and laundry room, installed blinds, painted some more, installed shelving, had more plumbing problems, sprayed for more spiders, scrubbed interior of one fireplace and are currently in the middle of recovering the other. So I guess there's a few good reasons I've been absent....

And that gets me to about 3 weeks ago.....we'll save that for another day.

The boys and I thought this baby walking stick was pretty cool.

Last weekend we visited some friends in Milwaukee and enjoyed every single minute of our trip.

It was so good to see old friends who are still great, great friends!

This week my kids have been so good as long as I have kept them busy in the morning with reading, writing, various jobs, practicing the piano and exercising and then they are free to roam in the afternoons. They have spent countless hours catching butterflies, squishing frogs, throwing sand, playing baseball, drinking lemonade, eating popsicles and then doing a few pushups when things get a little out of control.

A few weeks ago Greg and I met up with some friends in Chicago. It was the first time I had ever left my kids for that period of time. Although I missed my kids something terrible, I couldn't have had a better time away.
