Snowboarding Tip to Telluride Co.

Last weekend we all loaded up in the Tahoe with Aunt Susie and went to Telluride Co. for the weekend to Ski and Snowboard. We left Thursday afternoon and drove through some amazing country. Telluride is a quaint little mining town with SUPER cute main street and GREAT SNOW. We did a 1.2 day of snowboarding on Fri afternoon (which was plenty since we had not done any snowboarding all year) and then a full day on Sat. We could have not asked for a been weekend of weather fun. The snow was great the sun was out most of the time and I think I am actually getting the hang of this snowboarding thing. The girls took a class on Sat. and met some great friends and had a awesome teacher. Both of them are pretty fearless and gun-ho. We are already talking about a trip next year or possibly in the summer to explore the great trail Telluride has to offer.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!!!

15 years ago today Aaron and I said "I Do" in Santa Barbara, Ca. at a BEAUTIFUL little church on the hill. We had SPECTACULAR weather that day and enjoyed our reception outside on the Ocean. I was only 19 and Aaron was 20. We got engaged in Flagstaff in August of 1995 and threw together a wedding in a few short months between school papers, finals, and helping his parents build a new Chevy Dealership.

Life has been WONDERFUL and I couldn't ask for a better MAN to take care of me and my LOVELY little girls. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to my SOUL MATE!!!! LOVE YA!!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

This is for you EM!!! I have decided to be a better blogger in the year 2011 since I was HORRIBLE at it last year. SO HERE GOES!!!!

We just returned home yesterday from a GREAT trip to Cali (Santa Barbara). We left on Fri Dec. 16 after the girls got out of school and tortured ourselves for 9 hrs in the car. We had a rainy tropical Christmas at Uncle Matts where Santa visited us and delivered the Tangled Princess Tower and doll, DSI games, clothes, a Disco Ball, and lots of other fun goodies. We unfortunately did not get the best weather as it rained for the entire first week that we were there but it was still nice to be back in the old hood. We visited with family and old friends and ATE out A LOT. During our last week there we spent 3 days up in Paso Robles Ca. at the Lake house and enjoyed tootling around several little coastal towns just about 30 min. from the house scoping out our DREAM HOME. What BEAUTIFUL country!!!!! It was SO GREEN and LUSH (a few thing that Aaron and I do miss about California). We stopped at Eagle Castle Winery (Aaron's parents have their grapes from their vineyard stored there) and got out to let the girls see the castle and walk around a bit. After a great 2 weeks of PURE VACATION, we drove back to a FRIGID -18*. We are ready to get back to the grind with school, PTO, and FLIPPING. Here's to a GREAT 2011!!!!! Ready Set GO!!!!!
