Spring

Spring in the Desert is amazing!  This is really the first year that I've seen how beautiful it is!  Last year with the lack of rain, there were hardly any wildflowers out, but this year - we have wildflowers growing in our backyard . . . literally!  Can't wait to do some traveling to see some more.  And of course we will have pictures!

The boys are doing amazing.  Aaron got his first tooth on the 10th!  The second bottom one is about to pop through too . . . maybe for his 8th month photos?  He also getting close to crawling.  He is on his knees much more now, and just yesterday he got from his stomach to a sitting position.  Aaron is almost officially in 12 month clothing.  There are still a few outfits that he can wear 9 month, but for the most part 12 month it is :).
Nathan is pretty much in 24 or 2T especially in the pants.  Although he can still fit into 12 month pants - OOPS!  That didn't last long, but I accidentally put A's pants on Nathan.  I thought they looked a little snug :).  Nathan loves to do art projects and he loves to explore outside.  We recently found a beautiful green beetle that he had no problems picking up.  I had to keep from screaming, and the thought still gives me shivers, but he loved it.  His new word lately is "WOW".  It's pretty cute when he says it.

19 months & 7 months

Nathan is a running machine!  He just recently learned to "hop" and is trying to say more words daily.  His speaking is still mostly understood by mommy, but he tries, and he's just so darn cute.  After his (late) 18 month appointment (stats:  length - 34 inches, weight - 25 lbs) we told to stop the bottle feedings (morning & night), so we did that night, and he has been bottle free since.  I was telling my mom that it was mostly me who wanted him to have the bottle because it was our cuddle time  . . . so now we cuddle less with a cup, but I still get my cuddle time in the morning.  Nathan is doing so much - is constantly active, climbing and reaching, learning how things work (most recently the DVD player.  He loads the dvd, and mostly just opens and shuts the door :)  ).  He loves to close doors, so that's interesting.  Nathan is a neat freak (for now).  everything has a place and except for late afternoon, he will put everything away.  So, I'm assuming that Aaron is going to be the complete opposite!
My sweet 7 month old, Aaron!  This week he has started sitting on his own, to the point where I feel comfortable leaving the room with him sitting.  It all happens so fast.  One minute you are hoping that they will sit, and the next moment you wonder how it all happened so quickly.  He is eating baby food 3 times a day now, and I think he's hit another growth spurt, because he seems hungrier than normal.  He's also teething (along with his brother), so the poor things are a tad miserable.  Aaron will chew on a teething ring, where Nathan never would.  Aaron is starting to outgrow the 9 months clothes  in the arm & leg length.  I'm trying to hold out as long as possible though.  All Nathan's 12 month clothes are summertime, and though we've had some very warm days, most days are still a bit chilly.
