Lately I've been comforting myself each dreary morning by lining at Coffee Bean to grab a Ice Choco. When it is my turn to give a name (so they can yell out for you when your drink is made), I just say whatever name that pops into my head. I've used Felicia, Jennifer,Vanessa.Sometimes I'm stumped and I go er...Jolin! Of course I get funny looks.When they call my 'drink' name, I half don't respond or have to stay extra alert by repeating my "drink" name in my head.Its something I've been doing to secretly amuse myself. I find it pretty funny. Its like I'm someone else for that short span of 20 seconds.When I told Youqi, she was like"omg, you are so lame!!". But i've thought about it that sometimes,these people can never could get our names right.I get: Kay-tee,Catie,Katie.Yeah so why bother with your real name? I find especially so with my name Kathy. Not only lots of people can't spell my name,They go, "With a C??" or "Kay-tee?" "Cat?"I mean if you know the word Flirt-thy, why is Kathy that hard.(by the way,my name is pronounced with a GOOD accent of T-H-Y " Well maybe Kathy is not a very common name? Well at least- not one of the most common names - like Sharon, Melissa etc. That was fascinating!I think I should have a permanent coffee name...what shall it be? *gets distracted*
I'm off to bed now,i'm pretty exhausted with wedding preps.I'm getting a little bored with the excitment of getting married. I'm starting to fantasize holding Didi's hands,walk down a long road and just tell him "ok,i do"tats it!!!yeah....WE ARE MARRIED...*tats simple and so sweet lor*
