Time to move!!!

It's been 3 years since we have moved to Texas and so it is time to move. After waiting and waiting for several months we finally got official orders to a location we were not expecting... Rock Island Arsenal, Illinois.

So we took a little road trip to check out our new home! We went to the army base, went house hunting & took the kids to a children's museum.

A very tiring week, but a productive one too...

Dinosaurs!!

Dinosaurs!! Our son Wyatt loves Dinosaurs! And they had a huge dinosaur exhibit here and of course we had to go... It was very interactive with slides, mini golf and lots of dinosaur attractions.

After a long day... Cora is too tired.
It was a long day, but Wyatt and Charlotte had lots of fun playing with the dinosaurs. Cora got in a good nap...

We thought Wyatt's love of dinosaurs would go away but he still loves them! So we continue to learn about them....

Cora is 2 years old!!

On April 9th, Cora turned 2 years old!! Unfortunately she was sick on her birthday, so we delayed the party for a few weeks until she felt better...

She loves the show Doc McStuffins, so that is how we decorated...

All ready for cake!

Wyatt & Charlotte are ready to help!

First we will open presents....
The process of opening the presents was lengthy and drove her brother & sister crazy, since they wanted to help and then play with her gifts. But she eventually got them all opened...

Finally cake!!

And after the long wait, we finally got to the cake!! It was a chocolate cake with lots of frosting!
It was a big hit with Cora, she loved it and loved making a mess with it!!

Happy Birthday Cora Mae... We love you!!

A little surprise!!

The pregnancy test
I got a little surprise in February... One I thought I would never have again. George was in California for some training and I got the shock of my life. I'm pregnant!!

We have 3 children & were perfectly content with our family and felt that we were done. But apparently we were not quite done!  After struggling through the first trimester with morning sickness we finally got a dating ultrasound to confirm that all was well...

This baby is due in October and it will be a boy! Even though it was a very big surprise, we are so excited to have another little blessing in our home.

Wyatt is 8 years old!!

Wyatt was so excited to turn 8 years old and get baptized!! We had a small family party with cake & presents  and then a few months later he was baptized!

Grandma & Grandpa made a special trip to Texas for the baptism... They brought Wyatt a baptism bag with items that will help him remember the special day! He just loved it!!

Mommy & Daddy got him a nice scripture set that he is being very careful to take good care of..
