We have had a busy few months, especially with having a baby around. McKenna is such a good baby and we absolutely adore her! We are loving fall and the mild temperatures. It's definitely my favorite time of year. Today I ate candy corn for the first time this season, while smelling the pumpkin spice candle that was burning in the kitchen. Oh, I love fall! Here is a quick photo update of what we have been up to the end of summer / early fall.
Cole finally mastered riding a two wheeler bike. I'm not sure why he tried riding in his Buzz Lightyear PJ's that are tood small, but it was successfull even though the outfit was not!
Garrett's first day of preschool. We are doing a preschool with three other kids in the ward - it is lots of fun!
Cole ready for his first day of kindergarten -- how did he get so big?!
At the bus stop with the neighborhood kids -- Cole climbed right on the bus and was so excited. I cried when the bus pulled away, even though he was thrilled.
Cole is playing soccer and has really done a great job! He is a good defender and thinks it's his job to to guard the goal. He even scored a goal this last game. Go Liverpool!!
Little Miss McKenna all dressed up for a date night with Dad and Mom -- isn't she so cute?! She is the best little baby! She just goes with the flow and gets dragged everywhere! We love her!!
Swimming at the neighborhood pool -- we went every day after the baby was born, and as often as we could after that. We love having the pool so close! The boys also took swim lessons and Cole thinks he is a fish. Garrett is a little more reserved around the water.
Cole's first trip to the ER -- ended up with ten stitches after he fell and hit the bed frame on our Labor Day trip to the beach. He was one tough little dude - didn't even cry for the shot or stitches. I, however, was more worried than he was. I guess it's good to get our first emergency out of the way!
The "BEFORE" stitches picture -- gross!
Hanging at the beach with friends over Labor Day weekend - the beach was beautiful! Who knew Indiana had such great beaches?!
Hoosier Outdoor experience: tons of outdoor activities and tons of fun!
Riding mini-motorcycles with training wheels - the boys think they need one now
Going for a little Jeep ride -- Russ and I think we need one now!
Garrett jumping in puddles -- we had a ton of rain one week and the boys had a BALL jumping in puddles
"International Talk Like a Pirate Day" at the Children's Museum - the boys were sure they had met the REAL Jack Sparrow!
