Friday Favorites (Of Sorts)...

This week's Friday Favorites is a bit different. I cant go on without mentioning Jenny once again. Her life and her story has changed the life and "outlook" on life for so many people over the last few weeks. I would like to share with you what I learned from this fellow mother, wife, Christian, ACU alum...

I did listen to part of her Celebration Memorial Service on Thurday and "WOW!" is all I can say! God is at work in so many people because of Jenny!

So many people are commenting, saying what Jenny has taught them over the last few weeks... Jenny has taught me once again how to "Pray without ceasing!" Col. 1:9, "For this reason, since the day we heard it, we have not ceased praying for you..." That is the TRUTH! I never quit praying for Jenny! I never quit begging God to bring up her blood pressure. I never quit asking God to do what was best for Jenny. I ask God to help her lungs, her liver, her kidneys. I asked for God's Will to be done. I want to contine to PRAY WITHOUT CEASING in all situations NOW because of what Jenny taught me over the last few weeks!
Jenny also taught me to "lean not own my own understanding." Proverbs 3:5, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight." I want to do this wholeheartedly, not just with half of my soul! Jenny's family showed the world they were relying fully on God. They were so strong, full of faith.

Here is an excert from Jenny's carepage yesterday that shares others LIFE'S LESSONS from Jenny! Thank you Jenny!

"There are no words to describe yesterday’s experience.

You can’t describe Jonathan declaring in praise, “you give and take away…blessed be your Name!” three days after his sister was taken away…

You could use 1000 words to describe the moment Rick shouted the three words, “Lord, come quickly!” and still never do that moment justice.

And when Josh had us all bow our knees to Jesus as a declaration to our adversary that “we win!” and death has no victory…it was a feast of a foretaste of glory divine! Everyone there (or watching online for that matter) experienced the holiness; we just can’t explain it with mere words.

You can’t describe it but that didn’t stop people from trying. You usually don’t hear the following spoken about funerals…

“It was the best church service I’ve ever been a part of”
“I would have paid $100 to experience that…make that $1,000”
“I wanted to punch satan in the throat!”
“It made me want to go to heaven…right then…like I wished I could of!”
“I’m a college student at UT and drove in from Austin. I don’t know Jenny…in fact I don’t know anyone in the family. I feel like I do now. I’m so glad I came.”
“I’ll be a better wife and mom because of this...because of Jenny.”
“That felt like heaven will feel. I know it.”

Josh spoke yesterday about keeping the Carepage Community going (on a personal side note, I’d be in favor of a Bizaillion/Ross ‘reality’ show because they are about as ‘REAL’ as a family gets and as strong as any family I’ve met. But that’s a subject for a future post) and I don’t know what the family will do in the future with this virtual mega church, but I do know that there is still plenty we can do for the family.

Continue to pray for healing! Not for Jenny – she is completely healed! But pray for the family to be healed. May the hope that Jesse spoke about yesterday…the hope that Jenny walked in daily…heal the hurt, the loss, the pain, the anger, and the deep sadness that fills the family.
Continue to give! With over 12,000 members, I am confident that we can give even more than the $51,000 we’ve already given. With medical bills in the hundreds of thousands, funeral expenses and David’s loss of income due to the past 3 weeks (and the next however many as he and Malaya adjust to life without Jenny), the need is greater than ever. All money we give to the Gregg Pearson Foundation with “GPF Benevolence” in the special instructions goes directly to the Bizaillion family! Keep on giving.

Continue to share this site with friends and family and continue to post your super encouraging messages! The family can use our encouragement in the days and weeks to come every bit as much as they have these past three weeks. At some point every post and every comment will be made into a beautiful (and big!) book for the family. We can only imagine how God will use that book for His glory in the future!

This site was started three weeks ago today. We wanted to as many people praying for Jenny to get out of the hospital as possible. Josh reminded us yesterday that we didn’t get the answer we wanted. But as those of us in attendance witnessed yesterday, Jenny’s family knows that she got into heaven! May we all follow Jenny’s example. After all, she just followed Jesus!

May these words from the song, “Let the Waters Rise” by Mikeschair speak to our spirits today.

Don't know where to begin

Its like my world's caving in

And I try but I can't control my fear

Where do I go from here?
sometimes its so hard to pray

When You feel so far away

But I am willing to go

Where you want me toGod,

I trust You
There's a raging sea

Right in front of me

Wants to pull me in

Bring me to my knees

So let the waters rise

If You want them to

I will follow You

I will follow You

I will follow You
I will swim in the deep

'Cuz You'll be next to me

You're in the eye of the storm

And the calm of the sea

You'll never out of reach
God, You know where I've been

You were there with me then

You were faithful before

You'll be faithful again

I'm holding Your hand
There's a raging sea

Right in front of me

Wants to pull me in

Bring me to my knees

So let the waters rise

If You want them to

I will follow You

I will follow You

I will follow You
God Your love is enough

You will pull me through

I'm holding onto You

God Your love is enough

I will follow You

I will follow You

Ohhh
There's a raging sea

Right in front of me

Wants to pull me in

Bring me to my knees

So let the waters rise

If You want them to

I will follow You

I will follow You

I will follow You "

Go, Bears, Go!...

A few weeks ago we got to get away and go watch Miss Megan cheer for the Baylor Bears at a basketball game! It was so much FUN! Megan did an A.W.E.S.O.M.E job and the Bears won the game by the skin of their teeth! We were lucky enough to have Campbell and Harper join us. (Oh yes, and their momma Shelly, too!) It was just a good Saturday afternoon trip!
And who can forget that we got to spend it with Poppy and DeeDee... why didnt we get a picture of them? Maybe next time!

10.5 ...

Yesterday my Abbey Grace turned 10.5 years old! How is time flying so fast... It seems like just yesterday I was in graduate school, Abbey was just born and I was holding her just like in this picture!
But now she is 10.5 and changing so fast! She is growing up! She is making HUGE decisions about her life! She is making LIFE decisions! We are having LIFE talks that Mommies and Daughters have... and it makes my heart SMILE! Even though I miss holding my baby, I am LOVING holding my 10.5 year old. I LOVE that my 10.5 year old looks up to me. I hope she always does. I pray daily that I will live to be a Proverbs 31 wife and mother, "strength and dignity are her clothing", "she opens her mouth with wisdom", and "a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised!"
Yesterday I realized just how much my young girls want to "be like Mommy" and what I JOB I have. Abbey was building a snowman. After she finished, she came in and told me, "Mommy, I made my snowman just like you... She is left-handed! I want to be JUST like you too in EVERY WAY!"
"Lord, Help me to be the VERY best example of YOU so that I can train them up into the way that you want! I need guiding EVERYDAY! Thank you for letting me be their Mommy! I am truly blessed. Amen!"

Pray for Jenny...

The first of February Jenny became sick with the flu...

On Feb. 4, Jenny Bizaillion went into the hospital (ICU) for the flu and pnuemonia and sepsis.

Today, Feb. 17, she had to have both feet amputated below the knee because of complications (gangrene).

Jenny is a 31 year old wife, mommy, Christian, friend... we are connected through A.C.U. and Jesus Christ.

God has answered so many prayers for Jenny over the last 13 days. He has saved her life. Jenny needs so many more Prayer Warriors on her behalf.

Please Pray for Jenny.

Precious Gifts...

Here are the precious necklaces that Will got the girls for Valentine's Day! (Sorry I couldnt get better pictures of them.) They are silver and have their initial on them. I know they will treasure them FOREVER!

He had them laying on the entry way with my gifts and had a wrapped red rose for each of them, too. They felt so big and so SPECIAL!
Thanks, Babe for making this a Valentine's to remember for giving us gifts that are TRULY one of a kind that we will treasure forever!

Holy Moly...

Holy Moly was I surprised this Valentine's Day! My hubby ordered me some custom jewelry that is gorgeous! He has a friend that is a very talented jewelry maker. He designed and made this silver and turquoise cross (MY FAV!) with my initial on it! It will fit on my silver choker and on my turquoise beads or on many of my other necklaces. I am IN L.O.V.E. with it!!!!! Will also surprised me with this ring to match!! HOLY MOLY was I surprised when I walked in from our dinner and movie and found these two pieces of jewelry on the entry way waiting for me along with my wrapped red rose! It is a turquoise ring with "cowboy stars" on the sides. I love the cowboy stars because they are on Will's spurs and they were on his grooms cake! These two pieces are amazing and so SPECIAL!!! (much more special than the IPod nano I got him, Sorry Babe) And what a surprise. I had no idea!
Oh yes, and Will even had something custom made for each of the girls... I will wait and share it with you tomorrow!
Happy Monday!

Valentine's Overload!...

I know all my F.I.V.E. readers may be getting Valentine's overload from me today, but what am I suppose to do on a snow day! Here are a few shots of the girls finished cupcakes for their parties that didnt happen today! The ones with pink icing are Lainey's strawberry cupcakes... (see post below!) The ones with the vanilla icing, red sprinkles and vanilla cake are Miss Em's.
And the chocolate cake cupcakes with the vanilla icing and heart toothpicks tags are Abbey Grace's! I think they are all adorble! Abbey is taking hers to a fourth grade sleep-over. Along with thecookies we had made. :) It's a good thing I LOVE to bake!

I guess we will just eat the rest!

Favorite Valentine's Memories...

I had to play along with Kelly today! Valentine's is a fun day of LOVE... I often give Will a hard time for not being romantic, but he has actually done some really romantic things in our 12+ years of marriage! I even think that the engagement ring in the blender was romantic... but that is another story for another time! This week we are sharing some of our favorite Valentine's momories! One year while we were in college at ACU, Will snuck a long stem red rose (wrapped because those are my favorite way to get them... I dont know why) into my dorm room via my roommate!

Inside the card was a ticket to see GEORGE STRAIT! It was a good time... So sweet and so thoughtful! Not your typical Valentine's day surprise and not the typical thing you find in card with your roses!

There was also a DAY OF LOVE that Will and Jason took Amy and I to a very nice restaurant during our college days. It was the most expense restaurant in town and probably drained our wallets!
Then they had researched the most romantic movie of all times... Casablanca! Unfortunately, Amy and I feel asleep during the movie, but it was so thoughtful!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Friday Favorites...

It's a SNOWY Friday here in our neck of the woods! We got a "snow day" from school so the girls are enjoying the time out in the white stuff and I am enjoying my third cup of coffee! Today was only a half-day for us at school anyway and it was our Valentine's Parties so the kids are a little sad that we didnt have school!

This year instead of buying the box of cartoon Valentine's at Wal-Mart, we decided to order personalized Valentines on-line! The girls designed their own cards. They picked their card, color, font and what they wanted them to say! They also picked their picture... I think they are super cute... I guess they will just have to wait until Monday to hand them out. :)

I think it is cute that Lainey decided to us a picture of her BFF and herself!

We had a great time doing making these cards. We ordered them on http://www.seehere.com/. They always have disconts and got them for 50% off!

I love these girls with all my heart! And I am pretty FOND of their daddy, too! Happy Valentine's Day and Happy Weekend!

Chocolate, Strawberry, and Vanilla...

My three girls are different as night and day and as different as chocolate, strawberry and vanilla! In fact when they were little it was much more evident that I had one of each type of hair color. One chocolate... Miss Lainey Girl! One Vanilla... Abbey Grace! And One Strawberry... Miss Em! (I think this picture of them at ages 6, 4, and 3 shows off their hair colors so well!) On this day before school Valentine's parties, I am seeing the reality again of how my daughters are SO DIFFERENT and it is not just their haircolors that are strawberry, chocolate and vanilla! They have each chosen a different flavor of cupcake to take to their class parties! Miss Abbey (the vanilla haired girl) chose to take chocolate cupcakes! Miss Lainey Girl the chocolate haired girl chose to take strawberry cupcakes and Miss Em the strawberry haired girl chose to take vanilla cupcakes!
So we have spent lots of hours making six dozen cupcakes of all different flavors for my different FLAVORED girls! I wouldnt have it any other way!
Now I just hope with all this snow we are having that school doesnt get cancelled!
I cant wait to show you their personalized Valentine's cards tomorrow on my FRIDAYS FAVORITES!
My QUOTE OF THE DAY from Lainey: "Why does Thursday have to get in the way of Friday?"

Punky Says...

Punky and Lainey say, "I have two different feet... why cant I wear two different shoes?!" Miss Lainey Beth actually snuck out of the house last night like this! She made it all the way to Abbey's basketball practice with two different shoes without me noticing! Lainey REALLY wanted to wear two different shoes to school today! I said NO WAY! She just keeps repeating PUNKY!

Happy Hump Day!

PUNKY...

Over the last few weeks a few people have told Lainey Beth that she looks A LOT like PUNKY BREWSTER! Do you remember her from the 1980's? Well, her teacher was one of the them and I guess her teacher was a really Punky Brewster fan because today her teacher gave her the first season on DVD! How Fun!

I do see some similarities! What do you think?

Happy Monday!
