Oh, Miss Em... The baby of this family of 5! Our family without her would be about 1/2 as funny. She keeps us laughing and smiling. She is one funny kid! She is full of comedy and charm and that is JUST.WHO.SHE.IS... Naturally! Everyone who meets Emiley Morgan automatically falls in love with her. She is fun, spunky, the life of the party, the center of attention {in a good way}, and so easy going! She is just what I needed in a third baby born in three years after the birth of my first baby.
Emiley, You have the most beautiful eyes. Yes, you have brown eyes just like me and your big sisters but they are surrounds with the most beautifuly eyelashes that are long and blonde on the inside and brown on the tips. You have red/blonde hair and it is gorgeous. It is OH,SO THICK!!! You tell us every day that your thick hair makes you sweat and that you get heat flashes.
Miss Em, you are so brave and will try just about anything. You love cheering and dancing. You want to be just like Abbey and it is so cute to watch. You learn every cheer and dance she knows and are REALLY AWESOME! You are also pretty confident. It probably doesnt hurt that daddy and I tell you how stinkin' adorable you are :)
Emiley Morgan, you had your first year in GT this year and did a great job on your State Project. You worked so hard! You did a good job in 3rd grade and matured so much. You have to work harder in school than your sisters do and it sometimes makes you SO.MAD but I am so proud of you for learning to JUST DO IT! I know you would rather play outside, brush Jack or Jasper, or jump on the trampoline but you have learned to just buckle down and do your work as soon as we get home from school so we can get on with your day!
Emiley Morgan, I cant believe you are growing up so fast. You are so fun to watch. Your smile is contagious...

My Lainey Girl...
Oh, sweet Lainey Beth... You are one of a kind. Everyone who meets you agrees they have never met another quite like you. You are gifted beyond belief. You are too smart for your own good but also too crafty and artsy to even believe. You have an "eye" for all things art. People are always impressed with things that you create from the hair bows that you make to the outfits that you put together to the drawing you paint or draw. You are so different from you sisters... Really, you are all three different and that makes me so HAPPY!
I LOVE that you have brown hair and brown eyes just like me. I love that you have fair skin even though you would think that with your dark hair you would have dark skin like me, too. One of my favorite things about you is your freckles on your nose and checks. ADORABLE! You have a very bold personality. Sometimes we "butt-heads" but I am sure that is because we are so much alike! I love the way to give "I LOVE YOU's" so freely.
You are the perfect middle sister... You are the younger that Abbey by only 22 months and older than Emiley by only 14 months. You play your role so well!!
You are a lover of nature and often tell us you want to be a biologist. You are a leader at school and I cant wait to see you play the role of Student Council President next year! You have also had a hard time with your gross motor skills and I am so proud that you have learned how to do a cartwheel and round-off in the last few months! Your fine motor skills are incredible which is why you can draw, model with clay, write, etc so perfectly.
Lainey Elizabeth, you are often so hard on yourself. If you dont make a 100 on a paper, you hide it from me in the bottom of you backpack. You silly girl!! I am so proud of everything you do. I'm not sure you have EVER made less than a 95 on your report card. You are so fun to watch grow up. You are a hard worker and an amazing daughter. So proud of YOU being YOU!

My Abbey G...
Abbey Grace, you made me a momma and you still make my momma heart swell! I cant believe you made it through your first year of junior high and oh those teenage years... here we go! You are about to embark on being a cheerleader and you are so excite and yes I admit so am I! You are flip-flopping all over the place and it is so fun to watch. Next year you will begin REAL sports. I cant wait to watch you run your first cross country meet, play basketball, volleyball and whatever else you say YES to. I love to say, "Thank You" when I get brags from your teachers or others you get the oppportunity to know you!
You are a great BIG sister. You sisters adore you and you are pretty fond of them, too. Even though you all are really close in age and sometimes it is cause of some jealous and sisterly tension, I am always proud of the leadership you show as being the oldest!
You have an amazing smile, laugh, and spirit! We have had some great discussions this year. I hope that we remain able to talk openly with each other as you grow up. I love that you share you school days with me, that you tell me about your good days and bad days, that you are open about even the hardest of things to discuss! What a special young lady you are!
My blonde haired-brown eyed beauty... I love you!
Happy Weekend...

Oh, The Good Times...
Last Friday we took the girls out of school at 10 and hit the highway! Will wanted to check out the Ironman TX transition areas before the race day and we all decided to tag along since PaPa Jim and EE had a lake place only 20 minutes away. Will is gearing up for his own Ironman race in Florida in November. We arrived in The Woodlands early afternoon and enjoyed walking around the gorgeous area. We then headed up I45 to meet up with EE and PaPa Jim for pulled pork on the deck! The next morning Will and I got up at 5 a.m. to go watch the Ironman and some Waco folks compete!
It is simply amazing to even think about swimming 2.4 miles, then biking 112 miles, then running a marathon 26.2 miles! CRAZY! I stuck around the Woodlands and the Ironman until about 6 p.m but Will wanted to stay until the race closed at midnight to see the final runners come through. I had mom pick me up so I could see the girls and let mom and see "off girl duty!"
We did a little bit of enjoying the lake over the weekend...
Papa Jim and EE were great hosts! The girls LOVE the water and have been fish since they were born! Lake Conroe has a neat little island and the girls were so excited to show it to me Saturday night when I got there...
Isn't that fun?!?!
Will got the the lake late Saturday night but we were up early Sunday morning to do a little boating and tubing before we headed out! The girls wanted daddy to drive!
We all enjoyed some relaxing on the boat! Can you tell we are all ready for SUMMER!!!
Lainey and Abbey REALLY loved tubing! Emiley wasnt a BIG FAN!
I enjoyed just laying out, working on my tan!
Will sort of liked that, too!
Miss Em said she was the CAPTAIN of the ship! Cant believe I didnt include that picture! Next time :)

Going, Going, Going...
Last Tuesday I headed to Austin with Lainey's 4th grade bunch to the State Capitol. It was a VERY.RAINY. DAY but we managed to enjoy a quick trip!
Lainey and her 2 BFF's are just TOO.CUTE! Lainey took control of my phone through the capitol and I have LOTS of pictures of all kinds of things she found interesting! I will only share with you this one! She had pictures of pictures, of the door hinges, of the tile and the carpet... it seemed like every square inch of the capitol was on my iphone!
Also last week was the elementary student county elections! In this picture you have next years' Treasurer {Denver}, Historian {Emiley} and the President {Lainey} They all had to give speeches in front of the elementary school and did a SUPER JOB! GOOD JOB!!!
Of course, while you are in Austin you cant help but in in some amazing restaurants that have great patios to enjoy! We always love going there... It's just fun to sit outside, listen to the live music and enjoy family time and food.
We got the stay in a hotel {which the girls always LOVE} and do a little shopping for Mother's Day! Miss Em and Abbey had to dress up in this Memorial day garb! They said Mrs. Lengefeld would LOVE it!

We have been going ALOT lately and it has been LOTS of FUN! This past weekend we headed off to The Woodlands and Lake Conroe. Will wanted to watch Ironman TX since he will be competing in Ironman Florida in November. The girls spent most of the time at Lake Conroe with EE and Papa Jim. I spent my time half and half {more on that trip later!}
The weekend before last we went to Austin to watch part of the State Track Meet. We just wanted to show the girl the END.RESULT of hard work! WOW... There were some AWESOME kids running! Sing, Sing, Sing...
Our little elementary school has the best music teacher and art teacher! At the end of the school year they do and end of year performance that includes grades K-4. This year's theme was "I Need A Vacation!" Each grade performs 3-4 songs, in costume, and they all sing and dance... all 60 students in each grade! It's always AMAZING! This year Emiley's 3rd grade was a "Road Trip" to Disney! Emiley and her BFF, Denver were chosen to be Tinker Belle and Peter Pan. They were just TOO CUTE!
Lainey's 4th grade group was "Let's Play Ball!" They all made their shirts look like baseballs! They dancing was amazing. They danced with bats and gloves and did some jiving. It was really fantastic!
I always walk away from this program SO.VERY.IMPRESSED!!!
(Sidenote: Can anyone give me advice on how to make my pictures LARGER on this new blogger format!?! I am so frustrated!!)

Enjoy!...
Lately I have found some new things I really ENJOY. Like this Almondmilk in chocolate...
And this Flan. Oh my, its a great treat!
And I recently bought these two book by bloggers. I have started reading "Heaven is Here" and it is so good.
I know I have shared before my LOVE for this bunless burger from Carl's Jr. We stopped in Austin yesterday on our way home. It was one of my Mother's Day request...
And I got this little surprise for Mother's Day when we arrived home. Oh My! I was pretty excited. I have drooled over my friends' Keurigs machines for awhile. It makes your morning coffee so yummy!
Hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day. I did and get to go see my Mom this weekend!
Happy Monday!

My Gifted Girls...
Monday night we had the annual Gifted & Talented Night at the girls' school. This year was extra special because it was the first year that all we had all 3 girls in GT. This was Miss Em's first year in GT and her State Project was FANTASTIC. She and the other sweet 3rd grade girl in GT had to invent a game and make a TV commercial to promote their new game invention. Since it was Emiley's debut year in GT she wanted us to see her project first! We watched her video and looked at her game that was all about rounding!!! I was so proud of my girl!!
Then we headed over to Lainey's project. She studied Mickey Mouse and his history! Lainey had researched lots of interesting facts about the little mouse and the done a puppet show to present the information. She had Poppy help her with the presentation. Lainey wrote a script and had Poppy re-mix his voice to sound like Mickey's! She then played the recording during her puppet show. It was really neat. Her show drew a crowd.
Abbey's project had to do with spending $1,000,000. Abbey chose to build a movie theatre in our town. We use to have a theatre that burned a few years ago. Abbey did the research on the cost of a new theatre for everthing from a building to employees, to cleaning products to concessions. It was a great presentation and she could answer all our questions we had for her.
Her daddy was really quizzing her :)
I'm so proud of my super smart girls...We also love Mrs. Wagner their Gifted and Talented teacher! She does a GREAT job helping them with their state projects!
