Easter Past...

I LOVE looking back at old pictures...

It reminds me how fast time is flying (BOO!) and also how VERY BLESSED we are.
God is so good and continues to remind us Easter after Easter and DAY AFTER DAY that he is Present and working in our lives...
I am so Thankful HE IS RISEN...
Happy Easter!
(This is the time in our lives when we were asked if they were  triplets!)

Early Easter...

Our church had an early Easter egg hunt and picnic last Sunday.  It makes me a little VERY sad that my girls are FAST approaching the age of not wanting to egg hunt anymore but Emiley and Lainey still loved pulling out their baskets and hunting a few eggs.  Abbey hid all the eggs for our church.
Will spent his time cleaning up trash around the church lawn...
Lainey girl even wore her cute bunny shirt for the occasion!  I LOVE her!!!
We also celebrated the season by watching the Easter play at the local Baptist church.  they always do such an amazing job...
Praise God HE IS RISEN!!!!

Every Picture Tells a Story...

 Every picture tells a story...
About how hard a person has worked or the life that they live or have lived.
A picture can show their pure joy for a given sport...
 Or their pure determenation!
 A LOVE pictures...
 A believe a picture "speaks a 1,000 words!"
This face speaks 1,000  a million words.  It's a face of my sweet girl who works hard, gives all she's got and loves track with her whole heart!
She's gonna be is GREAT!  She is running faster every week and she and her teammates are beating their competition by HUGE points at every meet!

I am one proud Momma, and I have every right to be!

Abbey Grace, I hope you never lose your drive to work hard!
Every Picture has a story to tell and I love to watch your stories and dreams come true.  Keep living!

St. Patty's Day...

Yes, I'm behind again but blame it on the tummy bug, track meets, basketball tourneys, school, jury duty and the normal laundry, dishes and LIFE and you have my excuses... The weekend of St. Patty's Day, we headed over to Dublin for their annual parade.  Abbey and I were the spectators while Laine fulfilled her princess duties...
We were greeted by Mr. Leprechaun himself!  Our little county float didn't show (I will save you from my rant!) So the queens' from our county hopped on a wagon with a nice cowboy!  It's just what you do in a pinch!

The girls still looked beautiful and threw their candy and waved to the crowd so all was accomplished... (I guess!)

Then Lainey's dance team performed at the pavillion at the craft fair.  We took in all the sights of Dublin and St. Patty's Day!  They did a great job!!

I, of course had to sport my green jeans for the specail day!  I may have also had a green, gluten free beer!
Happy Monday!

Open House...

The girls had open house at school a few weeks ago.  For some reason they are in a stage where they dont like me to take their pictures so I got a couple of pictures of their work.  Above is a picture of Emiley's self-portrait bobble head!  She said that she wanted to be a teacher when she grew up... I think its ADORABLE!!!
And Lainey made this picture of a pear on the computer.  Its done with lots of little dots.  Lots of color and time...

I'm so proud of my creative girls!  (Wish I had a picture of them beside their artwork!)

Happy Weekend!

Spring Break...

Spring Break in our little town started out with a storm that took out our grocery store.  Straight line winds blew off the outer roof and the inner ceiling in the building collapsed with people inside.  Thank the Good Lord, no one was hurt but we are now without a grocery store until it is repaired and able to open... probably months.  This made the BIG NEWS!!!
Spring Break started with the tummy bug hitting our house.  Miss Em got it over the weekend and Will had it Tuesday.  I am crossing my fingers the rest of us are clear.  I made homemade, gluten free chicken noodle soup on Sunday!
Spring Break has consisted of lots of "laying low" and play time.  The girls got out the play-doh!  They use to play with it for hours.  What fun memories!
Spring Break has meant a trip to the movies to see "OZ!"  We snapped this picture in the carwash before heading out of town!!
Spring Break ALWAYS means cleaning out the closets and finding hidden treasures like this old photo!  WOW, welcome back 1989!
Spring Break means visits from parents/grandparents and their new little dogs!  The girls are in love.
Spring Break means searching on Pintrest for summer clothes, dreaming of the warmer temps that Spring Break is teasing us with!

Happy Spring Break!!

This Girl...

This Girl has made us so far in track (and every sport for that matter) so far this season.
She is running the hurdles, the sprint relay and the 800 relay.  She is also doing the triple jump and the long jump.  She and her team have won 1st at every track meet so far this year!
This girl and her team know how to have fun, work hard, compete and strive for the top.  I am so proud of this girl.  I am so happy to call her mine!

Happy Weekend!

She's A Baller...

Miss Em has done such a GREAT job this year in basketball.  They finished their "regular" season with only 2 losses.  She is the point guard on her team (Just like Big Sis) and does a great job getting the team going on offense.  Yep, she plays some pretty mean defense, too...
What a FUN season, girls... Now let's get started on our SELECT TEAM ball and get after the tournaments!

Happy Weekend...
