Aedan Chasing the Girls

Aedan loves to be chased and also loves to chase the girlies! At least for now it's only his sisters we have to worry about.

Monstrous Post!!!

It's been a while as usual since I last posted, so here's a quick recap of our last couple months so that you can get on to what you really want....the pic's and videos!

In November Jay graduated from COTA (Correcti
onal Officer Training) and is now working at the State Prison. He is really enjoying working there and is doing very well! The nicest thing about this career change is that he's home and available more often. The kids are now only in daycare for 5-6 hours 1 day a week as opposed to 11 hours per day 2 to 3 days a week. Mom and Dad Hancock came down for his graduation and Nikki, Mya and Audrie suprised us by coming with them. We had fun spending time in Tucson with them! We visited the zoo and hung out at the hotel.

December brought Holley's baptism and a visit fro
m Mom and Dad Larsen. They were gracious enough to come up to Mount Graham with us so I could get some much needed family pictures (which you see as our blog header).

Christmas was fun! Jay had to work both Christma
s Eve and Christmas day, so we had to rearrange our normal traditions a bit, but Santa still found us and we still had a very enjoyable Christmas.

Now for our growing boy! Aedan is getting too big t
oo fast! He is 7 months old now and on the go! He won't crawl traditionally but scoots himself everywhere he wants to go. He is a little curious terror! He is pulling himself up to his feet and thinks he's pretty neat that he can do that. He is perpetual motion at its finest! As most his pictures will show, he is always moving. I had to switch my camera to fast action mode just to get a semi-non blurred picture.

Now as I warned you...here are a lot of pics and a l
ot of videos! Hope you enjoy!

Family Pics on Mount Graham

Our big boy sitting up all by himself (6 months old)

All dressed up in his Sunday duds. (thanks grandma Anni and Papa Steve!)

How to crawl into a basket: 1st - pull yourself up to standing, 2nd - kick your legs up and lean forward, 3rd - swing your body sideways and bring your legs over the edge of the basket, 4th - give mommy a "what?! i'm innocent....this basket was already under me!" look.
(remember what I said about perpetual motion, silly boy is all fuzzy because he's constantly moving!)

Dead-Eye Rheesie Anne! Jared and I got air soft pistols for christmas. Rhees wanted to try it out. This is a pic of her first round of shooting. The yellow marks are her hits. (yes, she did hit the bullseye!) She was standing 5 yards away. This girls got a natural talent for marksmanship!

Chocoholics Anonymous and Belly Laughs

Hope you love these videos of our growing boy! Can't believe our little booger will be 5 months old in a couple of days! I sure love these kiddos of mine!

Guess this is what happens when you eat too much chocolate during pregnancy. At least he has good taste in chocolate! And yes....I do enjoy taking Candy from Babies! (ha ha ha)

I love that he loves his sisters so much! So far, they are some of the only people he will really laugh for. Makes my heart smile!

My camera was out of batteries, so this is all you get for now. I can't help but think that I have some of the cutest kids ever! Happy Halloween everyone!

Going Private

Hello my dears!

I've been thinking a lot lately about the wonderful uses of blogs, and how fun it is to be able to share our lives with so many friends and family. Just for fun (and to keep my mind sane) I decided to start a blog of my very own just filled with random thoughts. The link is on the top right-hand side of this blog if you want to check it out.

I've also been thinking about how available this information is for complete strangers out there.....some of whom may not be the most friendly minded. Because of this, and realizing that not only am I providing the world with mine and Jared's personal information but also my children's.....I've decided to make our family blog private so only those who we want to be reading our information will get access to it. So, would you please send me an email letting me know if you'd like to have access to our blog so I can add you? I know it's a little inconvenient to have to log in to read, but I feel safer knowing that our lives are being openly displayed for only those we trust. I will be officially private by the end of next week, so please contact me before then.

Thanks everyone!
