So, I know I have extremely limited photography skills, and only a point-and-shoot camera, but I still wanted to try and capture some of Eve's "newborn" (almost) phase. Here are some of the results of my efforts. (Oh, guess which outfit she decided to poop out on? The family heirloom blessing dress, naturally. Luckily it washed right out.)

When she was two weeks old, we took Eve to our neighbor's son's wedding reception. It was a fun excuse to get her all dressed up (and even accessorized!). (Thanks for the cute dress, Aunt Chelsea.)

25 (long, hard :-) ) days old.

This is how Mitchell dealt with the upheaval of his life. He was a little intense for a couple of days (trying his darndest to bring the baby a cup of water), but he's handling things quite well.





























No way the new baby can get all the attention. Mitchell will see to that!



















The big boys love to carry her around--so far she seems to enjoy it as well.
