Happy Birthday Jesus!

The kids chose their favorite toy to show off for the camera:
Reagon chose her car dvd player
Jed chose (Ok, I chose for him) his Lee Middleton doll
Kendall chose her barbie MP3 player
Jed playing at his little table with his baby Duncan
Kendall and Jed in the cozy coupe

Milk and cookies for Santa and the apple for Rudolph
Kendall and her new barbie car
Jed saying "OOHH" after opening his gift
Reagon's gift from Santa
It looked like a toy store blew up in our living room!

Josh and I both agree that this year was probably the best Christmas we have ever had! We had so much fun watching the kids open their gifts. Both Reagon and Kendall would scream after each one, saying it was just what they wanted. Jed was so much fun to watch. He wasn't too sure what was going on. After we would open a gift for him, he would look at it and say "OOHH". After opening gifts, Josh cooked a big breakfast and the kids started playing with all their new toys before we left for Memaw Lida's house.

Christmas Eve at Memaw Vicie's house

We enjoyed another Christmas Eve evening at Memaw Vicie's house this year. As always, we enjoyed a table full of food and opened a huge mountain of gifts. Memaw Mary Nell bought Josh the new "guitar hero" game. He was all smiles after opening this gift and has played it almost every day...sometimes he lets the girls play! LOL

Christmas Eve breakfast

We celebrated Christmas Eve morning at Roger and Teresa's house again this year. This is one tradition I look forward to every year. Ava was back in the hospital so part of our family was missing. We really wanted them to be there with us....it truly was not the same without April, Greg and Ava. Thankfully, Aubri was able to stay with Papa Rog and Nana Memaw so she was with us. We started the morning with a wonderful breakfast of pancakes, waffles and bacon along with my cream cheese cinnamon dish. After breakfast the kids couldn't wait to tear into their gifts. It wasn't long before the living room was overflowing with toys! We all had a great morning and I'm already looking forward to doing it again next year!

Christmas program

The girls were in the Christmas program this year at Daisy. Reagon played the part of Mrs Claus and Kendall sang in the choir. They both did such a good job. Reagon did so well remembering her lines and didn't act at all nervous. I didn't get to see much of the program...Jed decided it would be more fun to play in the nursery!

We celebrated the beginning of the Christmas season with my family on Friday night. We ate Mexican food and opened gifts. At one point in the night, Jed got a hold of a piece of candy with peanut butter inside the candy. As you can see from my blurry pictures (I dropped my camera and messed up the lens), his little face started to break out and swell. The medicine the allergy doctor gave us worked great and the swelling went away fast. We called 911 to send an ambulance just to check on him..... to be on the safe side...we wanted to make sure his breathing was ok, and it was. In fact, by the time they got there, he was running and playing! After the excitement, we all opened gifts and had a great time together.
