Merry Christmas from the Harpers 2008

Christmas Morning

We had such a wonderful time this year on Christmas morning. Jed was just old enough to understand how to open gifts and both girls were full of excitement. I don't know what we will do when our kids are older. It's just so much fun on Christmas morning with little ones. The kids received many nice things from Santa. (I'm not sure he was really watching them close all year) LOL

Some of their favorites....
Reagon--aero boots, nike shocks, chi iron, cell phone covers, aero tote bag and perfume, razorback watch, razorback throw, razorback storage chest for room,
Kendall--karaoke machine with 2 cds, little pet shop set, Bratz doctor set, FurReal Monkey, Lim 2 boots, Lim 2 watch, hunting boots, barbies and barbie ford explorer set
Jed--ride-on pony, fourwheeler, drum set, building blocks, Leap Frog set, Thomas the Train set
and a new Wii with three Wii games

Santa was also good to us big kids...I got a new zoom lens for my camera and Josh got a new GPS for his truck.

Reagon was too tired to stay up and Jed was fast asleep but Kendall made sure she wrote a letter to Santa, sprinkled reindeer dust in the yard and had the cookies and milk ready. The bottom of her letter says "PS I think I saw you on Christmas Eve". Josh had her convinced that an airplane over our house was the sled.
I had the video camera all set up to capture the kids going to their gifts but Jed decided to make a stop and help out with the camera! LOL

Too sleepy to open gifts!

Christmas Eve morning

Christmas Eve breakfast at Nana Teresa and Papa Roger's house is truly one of my favorite traditions. Who wouldn't love sleeping late, waking to a house filled with family, lounging all day in your pjs, eating a huge breakfast and opening gifts! This year was extra special because we were all together. Last year Ava was recently diagnosed with leukemia and spent Christmas Eve in the hospital.

The newly engaged couple
Jed DID NOT want his picture in front of the tree
Kendall with her Alf cartoon!
Reagon with her new shirt from Aunt April and Uncle Greg....
Kendall loves this gift....a monkey comforter set from Nana and Papa Rog.

Caleb and his new ipod.
Silly soap for Kendall....
What a difference a year makes.....sweet Ava with her build-a-bear princess.
Aubri and her princess bear....

Soooo many gifts!
