Jed is doing great and is enjoying being a healthy and happy little boy! God has been so good to our family. Outreach Church where Josh pastors is growing and we have so many great people who attend services with us. A good church family is priceless. Reagon is busy (still) with basketball and Kendall is just enjoying being home from school and riding her bike.
Let's catch up, shall we! Grab a seat and a cold diet Mt Dew and let's go back a couple months and pretend that I'm not behind at all on this blog.
My little 5 year old, hunting eggs!
School is out and my kids are enjoying sleeping in and playing outside all day. Kendall's final project was to build a habitat and a rocketship.
We finished the projects Sunday between church. Preacher/Rocketship maker. I married a good man! lol
Speaking of school...guess who is super excited about kindergarten. Not me.
I am going to miss my little buddy.
This was his face when I told him he did NOT have to get a shot at his physical exam.
Silly boy!
A week later he did have to go in and get four shots..two in each shoulder. It was pitiful and he screamed "don't you know I'll have to write with this arm! Why are you giving me a shot!" lol A trip to the store for a reward helped to dry the tears. He was super excited to meet his teachers and see his new big school. I made it about 4.6 minutes before I broke out into the ugly cry. It was pitiful. I'm happy he is going to school and so happy that God allowed him to go to kindergarten since that was something I didn't think would happen...just sad to think about missing my little buddy all day. I will be lost without him for the first couple of weeks, that is for sure!
No more cinnamon toast at 10am under an umbrella..lol
And who is going to help me work in the yard? And who is going to be my grocery shopping helper? (he was completely worn out!)
And lunch time fishing trips are the best!
Well, let's all pretend that Aug is a LONG way away and I have plenty of time to worry about that later. Let's just enjoy the summer! Moving on.....
Jed and Cougar had a fun play day last week. As I was washing dishes, I turned to hear them praying over their lunch. Quickly I grabbed my phone to get a snapshot. Priceless!
We spent another Memorial weekend on the lake! Poppa always lets the kids ride the Kawasaki mule and they burn a tank of gas in no time.
Sophie and Jed enjoying a summer treat! Aunt Dordi's house is fun!
Sleepover night Arkansas Razorback Spring football game...Go Hogs!
I just had to add these pictures of Jed and Buddy. He loves this little dog.
Did I mentioned we moved? Yes, we moved closer to our church and school. We are now about 2 minutes away from church as opposed to 17 minutes. That extra 15 minutes makes the world of difference on our gas bill each month.
My dear sweet husband helping the workers remodel the kitchen.
We bought a home that had 1300 sq feet and built on an addition of 800 sq feet.
We love it here and it is super convenient compared to our other home.
My little painting helper!
The JED Foundation is super busy too! We have so much going on and I should be able to link up the new website soon.
My niece Taylor Ann with a thank you card from JED Foundation. Taylor Ann turned 6 in May and instead of toys, she asked everyone to donate the money to The Jed Foundation. So very proud of her!
Jed and another survivor Carson at this years Relay for Life.Little Easton is one of the many fighters in our clinic that need prayer. My Wednesday night group wrote his name out with scriptures to send to him.

Jed is a big worker for The Jed Foundation. This picture was taken on the anniversary of his sickest week in the hospital. He delivered this basket to the parent room full of toothbrushes, shaving creams, soap, socks, toothpaste, etc for the parents to use. He also dropped off a bag of books to the oncology play room.
Some of the baskets we deliver each week...
Jedidiah up bright and early helping me pack "waiting room" bags for Jed Foundation. We deliver these bags to people in the waiting room. Full of snacks, crossword puzzles, pens, blankets, mints, books, etc.
My beautiful nieces! Taylor Ann along with her sister Kamry (on the right) and 1st cousin Sophie shopping for the oncology floor kids. We took her birthday money and they shopped and filled this buggy full. She is going to make a lot of little girls very happy with her selfless donation!
Jedidiah getting a summer hair cut
Our favorite nurse Melinda at Jed's latest scan dayThis picture cracks me up! Jed is doing great and I can't thank you all enough for continuing to pray for him.
He strongly believes in the power of prayer. I came through the living room last week and said "Jed, are you ok? are you sick"...he said "no Mom, don't bother me...I'm praying for a little brother." lol Let's all NOT pray in agreement, ok?
This past weekend he was asked to be the ring bearer at Josh's cousin's wedding. He looked so cute. Danton and Mandy, thank you for allowing him to be a part of your special day!
This week is church camp week. Last night we went to bed at 4am and was up at 7am. I'm so sleepy! The only thing keeping me going is this stash under my bunk! Reagon is too big for camp this year! =( or at least she thinks she is. I can't believe how fast she is growing up.
Mothers Day 2012 I am one blessed Mom!
Thank you readers for continuing to come back and read about our little life here in Arkansas. I ask that each of you keep Jed in your every prayer. We have so many little friends at the clinic who are fighting cancer for the second time. Relapse seems to be the most used word on our floor lately. I won't lie and say that Satan isn't using that to scare me. Please remember Jacob, Abby, and Ava who have all recently relapsed.
