The kids 

We tried to light paper lanterns, but Caleb was worried of the fire hazard and the fact that they are illegal in California. So we lit them and held them, so not the same thing but better than nothing. 

We had sparklers and confetti poppers for the kids 

The rest of Christmas break we took many walks with the dogs to the park and relaxed at home. Not a lot of snow this year so we didn't go skiing. 

They have two beds, but love being together

Pop and Nonie took the kids shopping and out to dinner a couple weeks before Christmas 

Did I mention the kids got me on snapchat filters....well it got weird with this Christmas one, imagine me moving to music- it had us laughing hysterically!

Then we drove to the Fire Station because Caleb was working on Christmas day 

Caleb took them on a brief ride in the fire engine around Wasco  

We played basketball  

The guys didn't have many calls while we were there.  They did go out a couple of times and the kids waved goodbye
