busy/exciting month

Josh celebrated his 25th birthday! Happy birthday Josh! We had the girls stay the night w/ Aunt Ronda and we went shopping, out to eat, and to a movie! We had a great time. We feel so old when we try and go out on a date....by nine we are tired and want to be at home w/ the girls in bed:). But I have to say it was really nice to get out and do something alone together!
The next day we celebrated Josh birthday with friends and family at a pool party at his parents house. Thank you to everyone that came! We had a good time! Adi loves birthdays, she know she gets birthday cake. We would ask her 'who's birthday is it?' She would say "Daddy Kim" (kim is josh's twin sister). Usually that statement was followed by "birthday cake" and then she would want to sing the birthday song. Next month we will get to celebrate her second birthday and Paislee's first!

Adi and Paislee got to go to the San Tan splash pad w/ their cousins Bella and Gavin. Then we went shopping at Sam club. After that we went back home and went swimming in the back yard and grilled hot dogs and played games.

Adi just finished her two weeks of swim lessons. She did wonderful. Although she cried just about everyday she LOVED it and learned a lot. She has no fear of the water. She will jump off the diving board her self. She can swim the the wall and grab it and do the monkey walk to the steps. She is learning to roll over and float when she is out of breath. We are so proud of her. Next week she will start dance and tumbling, I can't wait! Adi is a cute sassy little girl!

My brother Braden celebrated his 16th birthday! Happy birthday Braden. The girls love their uncle Braden! We have a great birthday tradition in our family. On your birthday we all sit in a circle and everyone takes turns saying one reason why the love the birthday person. Sounds corny I know but it is actually fun to hear a bunch of nice things about your self;)!

The girls got to go the the phoenix zoo w/ their unlce Connor and friends Livvy and Audrey. We didn't even look at the animals, we strictly did the splash pad, and it was wonderful! It was so hot! Thanks to Fry's for the free entrance!

Josh planted a garden and we have been enjoying our delicious veggies. I am proud of you Josh, you did awesome! And as you can see Josh is pretty proud of him self! The other night we made grilled chicken and and grilled zucchini for dinner....yummy!

time to update

Adi playing "mom" while Paislee enjoys the relaxing ride.
Adi indulging in a yummy cupcake at Uncle Jake Jakes graduation party. Congrats to Uncle Jake on your graduation! We are proud of you!

Cousin Nixon came into town for uncle Jakes graduation. Adi loved having a friend over at grandmas. They got along so well and love each other. Adi misses Nixon at grandmas.

"grandma's house is where cousins go to become best friends" Adi and Nixon really are best friends. I miss that little boy! Speaking of best friends, Adi has become quite found of Gabby. every time those to get together they go off and play and hold little kid conversations. I think it is so cute.

Adi loves shoes especially high heels! It amazes me that she can actually walk in them.

Congrats to Brian and Tiffany on graduating! Brian I am SO proud of you and I know Dad is too! We wont forget your graduation....sitting out in the rain:)! It was fun that you were the first to graduate!
I look really scary in this picture but give me a break I was camping! This is where dear Paislee spent most of her time! When we got back we put her done and she started walking every where! now there is no stopping her! (I love how green it is up there. I was so glad it only rained the first day)
Adi loved being free to do what ever she wanted. She loved camping and was so sad when we left. I had a great time too. We went on a really fun hike done into a canyon and then went swimming in the pond (I guess that is what you would call it). the water was freezing cold but Adi didn't care she got in anyways. Bradley made me the most perfect s'more mmmmm... we had camp fires, fun/interesting conversations. we played fox in the hound and Josh showed a full moon...ha ha....you'll have to ask me about that one. played lots of games. Sang happy birthday to my dad and ate chocolate cake. The mountains are beautiful. I always feel so close to my dad when I am there. The mountains where my dads heaven on earth. I will always treasure the fond memories of camping with my dad. It was a really fun trip, I love camping!
