Prairie Creek camping

This past week we went camping at Prairie Creek with Chris' family and (part of) my family joined us!! I hate camping but I go because Chris loves it, and I love him lol but it was nice to have time with our families and no work. It was freezing at night so that sucked, especially with a baby but hopefully next year we'll have a trailer so that'll be warmer and easier! :) Here are some recent pictures:

Sarah and Emmalee after they got lost..they were soaking wet and it was freezing...they were missing for 3 hours the first night we were there because they went exploring in the creek!!! oh and notice that Sarah only has one earring in...she thought she lost an earring because Emmalee kept tugging on her ear as she carried her through the creek but I found it stuck in her ponytail afterwards lol

Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin

Tuesday morning we left for Wisconsin...random, I know. But Butter Braid Pastries, the company Chris' mom, Susan, works with was having their annual convention thing and we went. Each year it's in a different state-last year it was in Tennessee (I went..it was beautiful) and this year it was in Wisconsin at a resort with indoor and outdoor water parks!! It was a lot of fun, even though the weather was kind of crumby :( Paisley loved the water and the slides were really fun for us! It was so nice to have Chris with us all day not having to worry about work :) We even had our weekly date night and saw Harry Potter while Susan watched Paisley (worth waiting to rent in my opinion...it was slow, like they're setting it up for the next movie). But one of the best parts of the trip was that I got to see RACHEL!!! Chicago is about 2 1/2 hours from where we were and she drove all that way just to hang out for part of the day with us. I miss her so it was so good to see her (in person, not just on skype lol). Paisley was surprisingly great on the flights there and back, which made it easier to travel with a baby. Wisconsin is pretty but kind of feels like you're in the middle of nowhere (at least it did where we were lol) but it was nice to get away from home and just relax. I love vacation!!!

I realized Paisley was cutting her third tooth (1st one on the top) on the flight there!!

Got milk???

4th of July

For the 4th of July Chris delivered dunk tanks in the morning and then came home to get me. We dropped Paisley off at his parent's house so we could go shopping real quick and to pick up a dunk tank. We were done about 5 and headed over to the Chandler's to swim and have a bbq and do fireworks. It was a lot of fun and the food was delicious. Thank you Gaby and John!! :)

Keira and Paisley

A couple of weeks ago our friends, the Moores, came into town. Paisley and their little girl, Keira, are only about 4 1/2 months apart (although our cute chunker is bigger than her, Keira is actually the older one lol). They loved each other. They kept smiling at each other and playing...it was so cute!!! They are moving up here soon and we are excited to have them here. Here are the cute girls together:

p.s. Paisley's new trick is holding herself up as she stands against things like the couch, and she can pull herself up to a stand holding my hands but not quite yet while holding onto objects (like the couch, tables, etc), almost though!! She's getting so old!!

Santa Cruz and Monterey

So Tuesday and Wednesday Paisley and I went on a little trip with Jenn and Ray and their family, Brad and his girls, my mom, Emmalee, and Sarah. We went to Santa Cruz on Tuesday and Monterey on Wednesday. It was freezing cold at Santa Cruz but Monterey wasn't too bad...still cold though.

Father's Day 2009

For Father's Day we went to our ward and then to my parent's house. We hung out there for a while and then went to Chris' grandma's house for dinner. We then went home and just hung out because that's what Chris wanted to do on Father's day. It was a fun day...I made a cute shirt for Chris and a cute bib for Paisley with their pictures on them....I'm mad though because I can't figure out how to get the first picture rotated...? weird! oh well...

I'm thankful to have Chris as my husband and for the father of our children. He is such a wonderful dad and he helps out a lot. Paisley loves her dad, you can definitely tell! He is the best!!

A few weeks ago we celebrated Ryah's second birthday before Rachel and Trent left because Rachel loves those girls like there's no tomorrow so she had to be there for the party. Ryah is a sweet little girl and very adorable! She loves her family...she's so cute!

I miss Rachel!

So Rachel and Trent moved to Chicago a few weeks ago and I miss them!! We're very close and we always joke and make fun of each other. (not in a mean way though lol) So we set up Skype on our computers today (well I think she set hers up yesterday but whatever) and we skyped about three different times today because we're both at home all day lol Anyway, we're so excited to Skype, we're dorks, I know... :) by the way...Paisley loved the Skyping...she was smiling at Rachel and fascinated with seeing her on the computer lol so cute!

I can't wait to see her in two weeks!!!! We're going on vacation to Wisconsin and she's going to drive to see us because it's only a few hours away from her!!! :) yay!!!
