Blue Lily

It's Offical...

Although we have been doing flowers for weddings and events for a few years now, we are now going public I guess you could say. We would love it if you would help us spread the word!
Thanks so much! xoxo

This Past Weekend

It was such a busy and fun weekend. Elsie is getting better at staying up longer so we have been able to start doing some fun things

First off our Auntie Amy came into town. We picked up Morgs, Hadley, and Preston and met Amy for breakfast at Mimi's.

We love getting to see Amy!

Then Morgan, Miss Hadley, Preston, Elsie and I headed down to Strawberry Days. It was so hot, I felt bad for Elsie, she was sweltering in her car seat, but she was such a good girl she got some new books.
We had so much fun spending the morning with the Ferran clan!

The next day we went swimming with Ashley and my mom.

Dave even came by to visit for a second before heading to work.

After a long day at the pool we had my parents down for dinner for Father's Day. I am so sad I didn't get a picture of Elsie with them but I did get some pictures of her first time in the activity saucer. She had so much fun, her eyes kept darting trying to figure out what to play with first.

Swinging

Our little Elsie loves loves loves to swing, hence the fact that she will take the longest naps in her swing and refuse the crib during the day. Anyway, the other day took her on the swings up at Park City. She loved it!! So the next day we took her out to the playground so she could swing again. I wish I recorded this because pictures don't do it justice. This little girl seriously loves swinging. We put her on our lap and she laughs and squeals her little heart out with her eyes scrunched up. It is hilarious and goes to show she is the happiest when she is swinging!

Visitors and the Cabin

My brother lives in San Francisco and he came out last weekend to visit with his Fiance. Keankeo brought her sister and brother in law and their darling little girl! We had a shower for Keankeo with our family and then we all headed off to the cabin....yes Adrienne you heard right I went down to the cabin and Elsie made her debut.

Kaenkeo at her bridal shower

Kaenkeos sister Foy, Lila, my Mom, Ash, Elle, Me and Kaenkeo

Never mind Elsie's mullet but here she is with my brother Tallis
this was her first time meeting her uncle and she loved him!

And her she is with her new friend Laylia, who is absolutely adorable. Laylia is barley two and she is so smart. She loved Elsie and was hovering around her all weekend. She was very worried that the baby needed her milk or her binki, so she was on top of it.

Here are are on Elsie's second hike. (Her first one was Memorial weekend... I still need to post pictures). We went to chimney rock.

We stopped at this darling little pioneer house for homemade pies.

And here is the little miss feeding herself. She takes her food very seriously. If you don't do it right she takes matters into her own hands.

We had such a fun weekend with everyone in town! I even had fun at the cabin which is monumental considering my parents usually have to bribe or guilt me into going down. Elsie of course loved every minute of all the attention she got!

First Day at the Pool

Elsie is already taking after her mama and loving time spent at the pool. We took her a few days ago and she absolutely loved it!! It was quite the process and I felt like I was packing up the entire house but it was so much fun and she did great!

She actually loved the water even though it was not the warmest. We would kick her legs and she would laugh and laugh! She would have stayed in there forever.

My mom met Dave and I there which was so great because when Elsie took a nap my mom watched her so we got to lay out.

Then Adrienne and Miss Avery met us a little later. Yes the girls of course have matching suits

All tuckered out after a long day of working on their tans!

Start of Summer

Softball Softball Softball...
Dave has played on summer softball teams forever. He usually does at least two leagues so we go to lots of games. This year he has two teams, but one league does double hitters so we have even more softball! Luckily I now have Elsie to keep me entertained. Here are just a few pictures...

Elsie is finally getting to that age where she can stay up longer so she is so fun to take to the games. She just hangs out!

Rolling Over
Elsie has been so close to rolling over for a few weeks now. Everytime she gets close I pull out of the video camera just in case she does it so Dave can see it. Well the other day Dave was playing with her in the nursery. I walked out of the room for just a second and he yells "Honey, she just rolled over"! I run in there to find her on her back smiling! I was so happy and so sad at the same time. I know that sounds ridiculous and I really was so happy she did it but I was so sad I missed it. Of course the video camera was right next to Dave but he didn't think to turn it on. The funny thing is she has not done it again since. She rolls halfway but she has not done a true roll over since, so I am bound and determined to see the next one. Here she is practicing...

How cute is that face?

Wild Sleeper
There have been a few nights that Elsie's room has been so so hot when we first put her to bed. So one night we put her down and I put the fan on to help it cool down faster. Twenty minutes later I heard the strangest noise coming from the monitor. I go in her room and she was sprawled out, not moving one inch of her body except for her eyes. She had this look like help me, I am so hot. We opened the window and within a few minutes she was fast asleep.

The same thing happened the other night. I could hear her throwing her legs on the mattress and tossing around. Finally she was asleep with her cute little legs crossed and rolled to the side. This is her new favorite position to sleep.

Wild Hair
Speaking of wild this little girl has quite the head of hair. It is now getting so long that I have to pull it back into an elastic. This is what she looks like in the morning

Here she is taking her morning snooze in her favorite place with her little check smashed against the pillow- her ultimate favorite way to sleep!

Random Pictures....

Here we went to lunch with our favorite gals!
Me and Elsie, Morgs, Hadley, Preston, Adrienne (we missed you Avery, sorry your mom wont take you out), Lizzie, Kelsey and Tenley

Our Tuesday night ritual... Bachelorette!! I loved the bachelorette when it first started but then it consumed my life and I had to stop the obsession. So thanks to our new favorite couple Nick and Kelli the bachelorette has re-entered my life and I love it!

Elsie and her shades! Is this not the cutest picture! This little girl is so happy all day long and we love it! Here is cute little cousin Brooklyn hanging out with us.

And here they are playing together. Brookyln gets so excited to see her cousin Elle but Elsie does not quite notice Brooklyn yet. However the other day Elsie kept squealing when she saw Brooklyn so I think the love for each other is now mutual.

And is here one more!
Oh how we love this little princess!
