The past two weeks activities...

Now that it is finally getting warm and we have had some extra time, Elsie, Dave and I have been getting out and doing some fun things!

Dave has Monday's off since he works all day on Saturday, so this Monday we decided to go to lunch and then to farm country at Thanksgiving Point.
Elsie had so much fun playing around! It actually was so windy we decided not to look at the animals outside. Lame I know but we made up for it... as we were leaving we could see all the goats and sheep over the fence and she loved it! I also took her back that Thursday.

A few weekends ago we went with some friends to the park for dinner and to play. Elsie loves the swing!! I love to put her in the baby swing and swing her high. She looks so tiny and cute!!

This picture is totally random... I was doing flowers for a wedding dinner at my moms and this was how my mom put her bib on so it would stay.. too funny!

We got to meet up with our besties Adrienne and Avery at the Discovery Gateway. We had not seen them in forever and we had so much fun playing!

After, Aids and I attempted a normal dinner at Happy Sumo... wrong! The girls were so naughty and I felt so bad for the people around us! Thank heavens we had the BEST waitress ever! It is the best when they understand kids!

We got to go to the splash pad with our little touring bff's Hadley, Preston and Morgan.  Elsie was a little more nervous then I thought she would be, but she still loved it!

Three little amigos...

We went up and watched this girls this week and we brought Elsie's new sprinkler ball. It was so much fun!
Avery was cute enough to run through it with Elsie

We also went to the pool with our touring BFF's twice this week! Thursday was a little unsuccessful because it was not that warm, but Friday was a success!! We had so much fun! Elsie is a little fish and had so much fun playing with all her friends! On the way home we stopped and got snow-cones. Why I let her have the snow-cone while we drove home Ill never know. She dumped it out as well pulled in the driveway and she and Hadley were sucking it up from her lap. At least it was clear!

We went back to Farm Country to go with Hads, Preston, Morgs, Ash, Christine and Luke. It was so windy but so much fun! Elsie loved the goats so much! She would giggle hysterically and kept wanting to stick her hand in the fence to touch them.

We have had a busy few weeks and had lots of fun! It is so fun that we can go out and do more things now that Elsie is getting bigger!
Look at this precious baby girl!! It doesn't get much better than this!!

Elsie's Obsessions and Randoms

Obsessions:

Any adult drink... no I don't mean adult beverage, I mean any drink that is not hers. Preferably Coke! How horrible is that? I promise I really don't let her have soda, in fact I hardly let her have juice or chocolate milk. But, when I do have any drink around her, especially Coke she goes bananas! It's to the point where I can only order water at restaurants (probably what I should be doing anyway). So these pictures crack me up. I was home doing flowers for a graduation party and my sister was helping me with Elsie. She had just left, I was almost done working and Elsie was being so naughty! I couldn't get anything done and nothing was keeping her occupied. So I caved, and sat her little but on the counter and let her go to town on my Coke....

She was one happy little girl!!

Obsession 2 & 3:
#2 would be buckles! The girl is OBSESSED!! She will play with them for almost and hour. Give her any type of buckler whether its in a car seat, stroller, high chair, whatever! She can now buckler her self into things!

And now let me introduce you to her 3rd obsession....
The love of her life....
as she affectionately calls it...
THE GO-GO
Obsessed, head of heels, absolutely crazy for this thing! Best money I ever spent! As you can see it is inside our house, yes it goes with us everywhere! I mean everywhere! In the house, to the mall, on long walks, to the pool (my sisters) to the grandparents. When it was too cold and windy to go outside (she could live outside if I let her, that could be a 4th obsession) we have to bring it inside. She will play with the buckle for a good 30 min, then sit in it and watch Sesame Street for another 20 min, then push it around the house another 45 min. Now she calls all cars "Go Go's" and is obsessed with all cars. Dave is loving life because he thinks this means she is a tom-boy and is going to be a race car driver.  (My child a tom-boy? ya right! i don't want her prissy by any means but I don't think I can produce let alone raise a tom-boy) But we love that she loves her little Go Go!!

She is even nice enough to take cousin on a spin!

Randoms...

I got her up in the morning and went in my room to grab something. I heard her rummaging in the pantry (never a good noise) and cam out to see this! The girls love her some candy! This is our Easter stash and when she finds it she goes nuts! She doesn't like cupcakes, cookies, or anything creamy or with frosting (definitely does not get that from me, I could live in a pastry shop), but she loves the candy!

Dave had to return Mike's wheelbarrow the other night so her took Elsie for a quick spin. She was in heaven and thought it was so funny!

And look at these two little knuckle-heads... too cute!
Everyone in our neighborhood has little Barbie Jeeps or little trucks. Elsie is once again obsessed! It is like the ultimate Go Go on steroids. She wanders in all the neighbors garages looking for one to sit in. The other day she was sitting in Zacky and Tys and then decided to get out. Zack of course went to help. I turn around and this was what I saw....
Dave snap her up and I snapped a picture before she cracked her head open!
