Lilly is 6 Months


         


This little baby doll turned 6 months last week! I can't even believe it has gone by so fast! We love this sweet little girl with all of our hearts! Here are some highlights of what she has been up to!

- Rolls all the time. Back to front and front to back
-Starting to sleep on her tummy
-Loves her binki
-Started rice cereal and likes it. She is still getting used to eating from a spoon
-Still a small little eater
-Weighs 13 lbs
-LOVES to be around people, especially other babies. Such a social little thing already
-Doesn't like to be alone
-Loves to move and kick her legs all the time. Such a bouncy baby
-Still no teeth, I swear she has been teething for months
-Starting to swim on put on her tummy
-Loves to read books
-Found her feet and puts everything in her mouth
-Loves to be sung to. Her face lights up
-Has to always check everything out and is so easily distracted, especially when eating
-Loves her sister and loves to be mauled by her (most of the time)
-Is seriously the happiest little soul in the morning
-LOVES her octopus toy
-Loves to have her face covered when sleeping
-Loves to watch her sister play
-Ist starting to get sick of laying down, is happier sitting up
-Cant sit up the best yet but is getting better
-Makes the funnies razz/babble noises
-Still a growler and little song bird
-Sleeps 12 hours
-5 bottles a day
-Has the SWEETEST smile ever. Her whole face lights up, especially her eyes!

Lilly Girl:
Oh my you are just about the sweetest thing ever!! We love you so much, I can't even put it into words! We are so blessed to have you in our home, and I know I am so blessed to be your mama!! You are such a happy little soul with the sweetest disposition. You are definitely starting to get more active and vivacious but you still are so tender. My absolutely favorite thing ever is to get you out of your crib in the morning. Your whole face lights up and you kick kick kick those little legs and wiggle around!! You make the cutest noises and are quite the talker. Your sister loves you so much and is always looking out for you. Luckily you think she is pretty neat and always want to be around her (except when she is squeezing you to death). You're mommy and daddy just can't get enough of our Lilly girl and all the happiness you bring into our lives. I always say I want a million more babies just like you because I just  can't get enough of you! We love you and are so grateful for your sweet and tender personality! Love Mommy

July 2012

So by now I am realizing a trend in my blogging... I only post once a months and its a picture overload. I want to be better and adding more details about each event but life gets too busy and sometimes this is the best I can do. Its hard now with Instagram because I feel like that documents what we do even better but I still like the idea of a blog. Anywhoo here is a mother load of pictures. I can't help, I get picture crazy with my two little cuties!

Fourth of July Festivities.  Morgan and I put the kids in the Millcreek parade like we used to do when we were little. They had a blast!!

And then had a bbq at Morgans! It was a busy day but then bet 4th in awhile! 


The next day we headed up to Dave's families cabin in Oakley. We love it up there. We went to the rodeo, went boating, four-wheeling and lots of walks! Elsie went out on the tube and of course LOVED it!! She kept wanting to go faster



Our new cousin was born, Maggie Rose. She is a sweetie! We have two more coming.. One is August and one is October!





Fun hike to Donut Falls. Even though it rained we had a great time and the kids had a blast!

Elsie is 2 1/2


Highlights of Elsie at 2 1/2 years old

-Loves to sing!! Our little songbird she sings all day long. She sings ABC's, Twinkle Twinkle, You are my Sunshine, Sunbeam and random songs on the radio
-Counts things all the time
-Knows her shapes and colors
-Can recognize her written name
-Is amazing at puzzles
-Loves to say prayers
-Has quite the imagination... She loves to tell stories all day long (to me or randomly to herself) about castles, princesses, pirates or whatever
-Has the best memory ever. The girl can remember things from months and months ago and will always remember peoples names
-Loves nursery, especially her teacher Paul 
-Is still our social butterfly and always talks about her friends
-Is so concerned if people are hurt or crying. She always tries to help make them feel better
-Is obsessed with her baby sister and the idea of going to Disneyland
-Loves Micky Mouse Club House, Doc McStuffins and Princesses
-Elsie is an iPhone wiz. She can turn my phone on, watch her shows on netflix and you tube without any help, ignore calls if she's playing a game, and can take pictures with the camera. She has always been very mechanical
-Loves to be busy and play outside
-Is still a little daredevil but if she gets scared once she is done!
-Is starting to get scared of things
-Loves to help Mommy do everything
-Loves money and always want to know what she can buy with it
-Is potty trained
-She is not taking naps everyday anymore, sad day!
-Elsie is boy crazy!! She has little crushes on older boys. Her favorites right now are Ty, Parker and Mac. She always is hugging them and holding their hands
-Always says "I'll just drive today mommy"
-Is such a good talker. She talks very well and always says random words like "Sure they could come over and play with me, Sure"
-Is not a very good eater but does loves chicken, blueberries, watermelon, chocolate milk, suckers and fries
-Loves arts and crafts. She is always coloring or wanting to paint
-Loves to play in her "office" (her easel)
-Is obsessed with gymnastics and trying to do handstands, cartwheels and hanging on bars
-Is such a mommys girl
-Loves to read books with mom and dad or by herself
-Is starting to get better with sharing and is starting to understand rewards and consequences

Elsie Sophia:
Oh boy do you keep us busy little miss, but we would not have it any other way! You have always been our little sunshine girl and we can't imagine life without you. You are our little sweet and sassy girl and are still full of so much personality. Everyone always comments on how much of a character you are. I think you get that from your daddy! You are pretty funny and always keep us entertained! I love your "Good morning" hellos, cuddles, and  "Lay with me" requests. You are always saying the most outrageous things and keep us laughing. You are the little girl that made me a mommy and I just love you to pieces! Thanks for being my best friends and sidekick! I love you love you love you!!

Lilly is 5 Months


How is this baby growing so fast??

At 5 months Lilly is

-Grabbing objects 
-Putting things in her mouth
-Loves to growl
-Talks and squeals and screeches all day
-Sleeps 10-12 hours at night
-Loves to smile and her eyes light up when she does
-Is starting to laugh
-Loves other babies and kids
-So happy and content
-Is starting to cut a tooth
-Can roll from front to back and back to front
-Loves her play mat and activity center
-Is the happiest baby ever in the morning
-Loves her sister

Lilly Girl-
You are seriously the sweetest baby ever! You make everyone around you so happy and you always light up the room with your sparking eyes and sweet smile. You are such a good sport to do anything all day long and get mawled by your sister (its only out of love). We can't not imagine our lives without you! You are our little sweetheart and we love you to the moon and back!!
