April/May News!

It snowed the end of April! Ah! Winter wonderland...but not so wonderful! I want it warm!!! Yeah! It is finally so nice out. B had me hook up the bike trailer to his bike. He has been having fun giving the kids a ride...and some friends too. He is so tough!
B's Kindergarten went to the zoo for a field trip. He is on the left with his two good buddies! They had so much fun! Even Grandma Sue joined us! It was fun!

Spring Soccer! B enjoyed playing and finally got a hang of the game! He did SO well! He loved keeping track of how many goals he made in the game.
He was lucky to have his dad be the coach!
No Pics...but the latest on the remodeling: Basement just needs some paint and carpet. The kitchen is going to be a few more weeks. Hold up on tile order and need to let the new wood floor aclimate to our house.
Mike has been dealing with the shingles the last week. He says they are really painful and wants to tear out his stomach! I am staying far away from him! :)
I am happy to say I ran my first of many (I hope) 5k! I have never ever been a runner. I was able to do it in 30:54! Mike of course did it in less then 18 minutes and took 2nd place, but i am happy with my time! Yeah for me! :)

Arizona Again!

So, spring break came upon us and I didn't think Mike would want to go anywhere. But he came home from work and suggested we head to Arizona. We debated back and forth and then found out that Mikes Dad (who is serving as Mission President in Texas) was flying to Pheonix and we would be able to see him for a few hours. That made our decision. So, we quickly headed out. It ended up to be a short trip, but with a whole lot of fun!

Kids with Grandpa...it's almost been 1 year! Princess was about 5 months old! She went right up to Grandpa! Kids with Great Grandma! They love her toys!
Went with my sister, hubby and new baby to this fun place.(Can't remember what it was called) We played Mini Golf, water rides and go carts. The kids are still talking about these race cars. They were able to drive all by themselves (smaller version of the adult ones). Us adults got a good laugh. Cookie Monster was hilarious! Let's just say, he needs more driving experience! He was all over the place. He'd look over at us, then run into the tires. It was well worth the couple bucks!
