Little Peanut
I know we have not blogged in a very long time, but we have some news. The Noriega family is growing. We now have one more member coming soon. June 24 is when little Peanut pops out of the oven. We are calling him/her little peanut for now because its cute and that is what he/she resembles. Now we will have something a little more fun to blog about. So here is the ultrasound. And soon I will post more updated photos of our little town home. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Hector & Steph's little town home
The long and anticipated wait is now over. We have had a very busy schedule these past 3 weeks. It went something like this. "OOOOOh look honey here is a townhome we may be able to afford. Lets put in a bid for it." Bid is successful, schedule move out date with apartment complex. Close on house. Now most people from here on out would be able to just schedule a moving truck on a certain date to bring thier stuff to their new home, and not worry until moving day. Well we had to first bug bomb our place twice, then rip out carpet and linoleum because it was nasty, demo a random closet in the kitchen to make more room for the dinning room, wet and scrape old popcorn ceilings because we no longer live in the 80's, then skim with drywall entire ceilings (kitchen, dinning room, living room, and master bedroom), sand all ceilings with a wonderful pole sander, my back, and shoulders still hurt. Patch random holes in walls, remove old random wall paper and straw crucifixes in master bedroom, replace all locks because we did not have a key to the backyard door, repaint kitchen cabinets, and clean kitchen cabinets, replace our nasty stove with non working burners with a new stove, clean out refrigerator, paint, place new flooring, make runs to the dump with all our construction debris, volley ball games, mutual, work, do the hippidy dippity, move out of apartment, clean apartment, more hippidy dippity and then finally move into new house, all in a matter of 2 weeks. So that is my excuse on why its been so long for the new post to be posted. But it is finally here. So here are some pics of our current work in progress.

Tonight West Springfield played against Yorktown. An exciting match. Of course we won, and we did it in 4 games. West Springfield is now 3-0 with a win last week to Madison high school. Now for an update on us. As you may know we have been house hunting. Well the hunt may be over. We put an offer on a town home, and the bank has accepted. Now we are just waiting for the paperwork. It will be fun and exciting for us to work on our home, cleaning, fixing, repairing and of course painting. Painting our master bedroom, the kitchen, living room, future special room, etc. Anyway it is getting late so stay tune for future Hector and Stephanie blogs.

Update
Westspringfield vs Oakton (scrimmage) West Springfield won in 4 matches
Here are a few photos of Stephanie's pre season volleyball game.
Stephanie is doing great. She is the head volleyball coach for the West Springfield Spartans. She has brought this highschool to a very competitive standing. She pretty much is responsible for the success of the girls volleyball program. I know you may think this is a baised statement and it is a little, but I am not kidding she is a fantastic coach. She loves to coach and put the girls through some rigorous conditioning drills. The conditioning payed off last night at the Oakton scrimmage. They lost the first match by 2 points, and came back and won the following 3 matches. The fourth match was a pure domination butt kicking. The other girls looked tired, but West Springfield was on fire, and looked like they could play all night long. So its a good start to the season. I am excited for the rest of the season.
Anyway on another note we have decided to remain in VA for a little longer, considering that things are working out quite nice. Stephanie is also starting her full time teaching position at West Springfield as a teacher there, thats exciting.

Finally
We have finally jumped on the bandwagon and become bloggers. Well I have. Stephanie needs a little more time. Anyway lets get to the point. Stephanie started her grad classes today, and lonely nights have started for me. As head coach of West Springfield she is also whipping into shape all her volleyball girls. Gotta love conditioning.
I am currently working on my first project on my own. I am remodeling the offices of the Jefferson Hotel in D.C. Celebrities have been spotted staying there, as soon as I see one I will let everyone know, as for now no such luck. But, one of the other superintendents had breakfast with Richard Gear. Anyway that's all I have for now. I am going to try and post some videos, and photos to see how this works. Maybe not, I tried to post a video and it did not work. I will try again later, I promise you will love the video.
